In summary

Smock Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained conditions, enjoyable layout, and reasonable pricing, providing a quality experience that many find comparable to private courses. The staff is noted for being friendly and helpful, and the course offers a variety of challenges with its sand traps, ponds, and undulating greens. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the pace of play, citing instances of overcrowding and slow rounds, which can detract from the overall experience.

Host a charity outing here in July each year. Course is one of the nicest you will find for a city course anywhere. Great layout, challenging but fun! Definitely a golf course we will continue to host our event at each year!

Course has seen better days. Definitely has abandoned any real treatment. Greens were not rolling true at all. This should definitely be in the budget category of golf courses but there are plenty of other affordable options in better shape. From tee box to green, I could not find any decent conditions whatsoever.

Great course! Found this place on line while visiting from Buffalo NY. Played with a wonderful guy named Bob, who is a member. Had a fun round and would highly recommend this place. Price was amazing considering the quality of the course. I will definitely be back next year and hopefully pair up with Bob again.......

Smock is a well taken care of Golf course with great fairways and greens!! They have professional staff on hand with a good selection of food and drinks to choose from as well. Ethan was the one that assisted me with my round of golf and recommended the Blue tees rangefinder I purchased you can see in the pictures I posted. I highly recommend this rangefinder and I can't wait for the warmer season to start so I can return to this great course.

Love Smock GC. The folks in the club house are great , always friendly and more than willing to shoot the shit, they have killer end of year sales- the corse is holding up great for end of November! Seriously a solid gc - i didn't care for the winter tees on the par 3s- way to short - felt like it took away from an already pretty straight up play- no need .

Course itself is well kept. We booked a tee time for 12:00 on a Saturday. There was a group who tee’d off right after we hit our 1st drive and was on our tail despite us being on time. A guy drove out and told us to play faster on the third hole after being called by that same group. We couldn’t play any faster with there being 2 groups in a log jam in front of us. We golfed the front 9 in 1.5 hours so we weren’t going slow. There is no point in having a golf marshal if you’re going to let people tee off right behind and have people jam up. The fact they listened to those people knowing they l…

Pretty good course for the price, carts were alright, pretty flat with a few challenging holes. Space people out good so not right on top of each other.

Beautiful course that's well-maintained that gives you the private course feel for the public course price. Mostly flat, small rolling hills here and there. Nice but small pro shop with decent prices as well.

It's a decent course but they pack way too many people on it. Having to wait 20-30 minutes at every hole is ridiculous. I've played here 6 times never played past 14 because we got tired of waiting that long. 6.5 hours just to play here is ridiculous.

First time here. Course was in great shape. Fun layout. Not too hard but has some challenges. Bratwurst with grilled onions and peppers at the turn was a great choice. The carts were super nice. Only disappointing thing was the greens were hairy and bumpy with pitch marks not being repaired. Given everything else was great, I can just assume I was there on the wrong day. I’d go again

Nice city course for a reasonable price. Greens are in good shape and reasonably quick. Definitely worth a visit.
