In summary

Sleepy Hollow Golf Course is appreciated for its picturesque setting and well-maintained greens, making it a popular choice for beginners and those seeking a relaxed round. The course layout is straightforward with wide fairways, offering a good practice environment. However, some visitors have noted issues with the condition of the fairways and the lack of tee times, which can lead to slow play and congestion at the first tee. Additionally, there are mixed reviews about the customer service experience at the clubhouse.

My husband and I played this course on our trip to Oldham County. We really enjoyed it! Very pretty course, well marked. Greens were in fantastic shape. The fairways had been a victim of the dry, hot spell, but that didn’t bother us. Friendly service in the clubhouse ad well!

Not a bad course for the price! Golfed 9 towards the end of the season so the grounds were a bit rough but we still had fun!

Used to be a gem of a course. Greens are great but the fairways have really deteriorated. Easy 9 holes, great price. ~ too much dirt, grass too long.

Came to this golf course last month and didn’t have a chance to review yet. Wasn’t surprised to see someone else had mentioned how rude the woman at the front was. Brown hair. Not to mention my wife had called a week before we were to arrive, and said the woman on the phone was rude. Sure enough, she was very rude from the moment we walked in. A group of 2 men and 2 women. We had never been to this course and had some questions, which she seemed irritated to have to answer. Seemed irritated when we walked in and she was having lunch with some guy and had to get up and help us. Not sure why she…

Nice 9 hole course. Most holes are straight with wide fairways. Greens are not too big nor too small with plenty of challenging breaks. Good parking.

If you are black, do not attempt to golf here. The woman at the front desk (who claims she is the owner and refused to provide her name), is extremely rude and condescending. Very boldly treated two out of a group of three differently just because of how they looked. There are many other courses to visit, this one is not the one.

Love Sleepy, great family owned golf course. Been playing here since 1990. Great relaxing fun course. Difficult, easy, hard, complex, always good shape. Birdies and pars there with plenty of doubles. Great for all types of golfers

My friend Doris Wilson would go there to play. We loved it. Everyone was so nice and the place so beautiful. As years went on we had to change our way of playing. At the end we only chipped up on the greens and counted our putts. Doris was 95 the last time we played there. That last hole was amazing. Hold on to your hats when you get there. God bless you and 😉 enjoy.

This is a 9 hole golf course with mostly straight away holes that play pretty easy. One thing I wish they would incorporate are tee times. The course can get extremely backed up especially when a lot of groups show up at once. The 1st tee can get 10 carts stacked very quickly creating slow play. Tee times would make the course a bit more enjoyable. A few of the par 4s are drivable especially hole 1 which can be reached with a good hybrid or wood shot. The fairways are firm and usually kept in decent condition until fall when you’ll find some to be ripped up in sections with sprinklers going.…

Greens are in good shape but fairways are solid dirt with little grass. I enjoyed hitting from the rough which is in better shape. Girl at front desk is always smiling and polite.

First and foremost, they need to update their rates on the website. It's not that cheap anymore. Kind of stinks there's not a twilight rate in the evenings/weeknights, either. Sleepy Hollow used to be this hidden-gem of a course, but now they're so busy the "first come first serve" practices can't really keep up with the demand; several people will back up to tee off the first box (and I'm talking literally, 14 people when I was here last), which in turn makes just a round of 9, 4 hours long. It's painful. There NEEDS to be some sort of order there now. i.e. tee times and a limit to the number…
