The Standard Country Club

Staff is great. Good variety of members,l: friendly, fun and competitive. Always can find a good game on weekend. Not hard to get tee times and very little waiting while on the course. Zoysia Fairways are perfect. Greens rolling very nicely this year. Only downfall of course is around the greens, a little spotty, but maintenance looking to fix in near future. Can't beat the value. Fun events and tournaments. The board seems eager to keep improving the conditions and amenities. Pool scene is great. Overall, Very pleased as a member!

This course is beautiful! Friendly people, absolutely fantastic pool and the greens are well maintained and always look GREAT. Standard is definitely one of the best courses in Louisville, challenging but so much fun to play.

Great so far - we just joined with a "pool only" membership. The grounds look great and short of the YMCA, it is the best pool membership price in East Louisville. (Update) We used their pool for all of the summer of 2017. As the season went on, facilities got a bit more run down, and on or around holidays, it was so busy as to not be fun.

I'm not a member here, but have played a couple of rounds here with members; I can only speak for the golf. It's a nice course that has some fun, challenging holes. The pace of play has always been good, which I appreciate the most. The course is kept up well, but you pay for it in the greens fees.

The golf course is very playable for the average golfer, yet challenging for those with lower handicaps. The course conditions are among the best in the area, along with a knowledgeable, service oriented staff make this golf club a hidden gem.

Wonderful golf course condition and golf programs. Excellent professional staff and top notch teaching. Best course in Louisville area for location and timely rounds in 4 hours or less.

Standard is in great shape. Greens and fairways are awesome Newly sodded driving range looks great. I enjoy playing this course and the you can't beat the friendliness of the staff and members.

Mike Riley is the best Pro I've seen. He really has his entire staff well trained. They are all very accommodating but not over the top. I've been a member of 4 previous clubs including Valhalla and I would rate this one near the top.

Beautiful grounds. HOWEVER, there is a main employee who works at the golf course by the name of Amy who is extremely problematic. She mistreats her employees and is detrimental to the morale. She is a problem and needs to be dealt with ASAP. Not a good look for the club.

The facilities are first class as is the staff. I was a member years ago and recently joined again. They have a wonderful junior program. I am glad I am back..

The tennis courts are great and the tennis pro there is amazing, shout out to Meg Peavy
