In summary

Scotch Valley Country Club is widely praised for its beautiful views, well-maintained course, and friendly staff, with many highlighting the challenging yet fair layout and fast greens. The course is considered worth the higher price for its quality, though some mention occasional slow pace of play and wet conditions following rain. While generally well-received, a few visitors noted issues with the condition of facilities and certain areas of the course.

Scotch Valley is a legit 5 star course between beautiful views and conditions and extremely nice staff. If you could only play a single course in the area this would be the one. Great routing, plenty of uneven lies to deal with but not unfair or tricked out. When I played there were local groups that slowed us down but I hear it's the exception.

Can't beat this place for the beautiful views and the awesome groundskeepers. The price is certainly more than most places I've played but I'd have to say it was worth the price. Nice, comfy carts and decent ppl. Greens are super fast compared to most places I've played. Of course we came across a group of 4 that we never saw until the 13th hole or so and they came out of nowhere, they were taking forever with making their stupid TikTok videos and watching ppl trap rattlesnakes. Just golf you DBs! Will definitely be back and I would recommend this place to anyone.

We went there on July 20th and the whole experience was amazing. From the view to the service and every piece of food I stuff into my belly. So much delicious food for an amazing price. An appetizer, 2 meals, and a dessert enough to feed 4 people. 10/10 I’ll be back again very soon to try even more amazing meals.

Played here Memorial Day for my first time (others in my group have played and always enjoyed it). The greens were in great shape and rolled true. Fairways and teeboxes were excellent as well. Pro shop staff was polite. Worth the trip if you’re within a 1.5 hours

Let me tell you, this golf course is in pristine condition. Even the sand traps are the best I’ve seen. I would know because I end up in them often 🤪 The girl at the front desk was one of the nicest humans I’ve ever met. If you want good golf and good people, this is the course for you.

If you are used to private membership and high quality and price golf establishments this is your course. The grounds and course are spectacular. The greens rolled true, but were surprisingly slow but they had rain. If you play after they were recently cut then I can see how this course could really shine. Played the front nine late on a weekday and had the place basically all to ourselves. The course was cart path only due to recent heavy rains which understood is done to protect the course, but this course was sloshing wet everywhere so keep that in mind if you plan to play near a rainy time…

Very nice course, in great condition, tough but fair. Pretty long from the blue tees! Fast greens. Fair price (Friday afternoon). Facilities (pro shop and clubhouse) were dated and not very well cared for. Locker room was large but unkept. Pro shop was in disarray.

Great tract, not overly long(white tees, the others are certainly more challenging) some of the fastest and smoothest greens one will find in the area. Odd beer policy - ask about it when making your tee time. Great course and worth the money

My family and a close friend recently visited Scotch Valley. The course was in excellent condition. The staff and members were very welcoming and cordial. We appreciated the show of hospitality and will certainly be back.
