What People Say

In summary

Immergrun Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and challenging layout, with many appreciating its historical design and scenic setting. The course is noted for its unique hilly terrain and is considered a hidden gem among 9-hole courses. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the rough's maintenance and the parking and clubhouse logistics, which can be confusing for first-time players.

1st time here and I like this course very much. Very wide fairways to accommodate our slice so much that I only lost 1 ball thru 18 holes. Very well maintained course to go along with the beautiful scenery. Tee boxes and greens were also meticulously kept. I will definitely be playing here again soon and recommend this course to anybody but especially to players with bad slices and lefties would probably benefit from the left bends thru the course as well. Thank you Immegrun for the great 18 holes of golf.

Great, unique, hilly course. Greens were in excellent condition. Supposedly a Donald Ross design. However, locals and some say this is not exactly true. Challenging approach shots and greens that roll true and make you think. Fairways were okay. The greens and tee boxes very nice. If in town, and want to play nine, great play. It is classic golf and if you enjoy golf architect and history make sure you play this quick nine.

I hit the fairway on the first hole. I never found my ball. Well, that was only the beginning. It happened on three other holes. Obviously, someone needs to get on the mower. Roughs are terrible. Greens are very good. Other than losing 8 new balls too the foliage, it wasn't that bad. So be prepared to pay about 20 bucks in lost balls. 27.99 + 20.00 = 47.99 .not worth near that much

If you love classic old courses, this one is from 1917 and it's obvious it's still true to that time period. So much fun fitting shots into slopes, hillocks, and mounds that are just there naturally. Conditions are only okay, but layout is always far more important to me, and this is a gem.

Not a terrible course for our area. Challenging. Very hilly with many blind spots. I found sticking the greens and putting to be challenging. Fairways are reasonably easy to hit and the design of the course allows for some decent long drives. The parking and club house arrangement was ridiculous. You have to park and walk a country mile to get to the clubhouse, pay, grab a golf cart, then drive the cart back up the hill to get to your car. GPS takes you to the clubhouse where there is absolutely no parking. Good thing I went with friends who explained that to me or I would have been so confuse…

This course has gone so far downhill it's basically an underwater ruin. I played here 150-200 times in the past 3/4 years with a membership. With the loss of Derrick their old pro its like SFU hired a group of people who have the opposite of a love for golf. The employees are incredibly disrespectful, especially if you go with a friend, and want them to use one of your member passes for a free round of golf. The greens seem like they get cut once a week. The rough is literally either so thick, and high you lose your ball, or so thinned out, and dead that it just rolls out completely to the woo…

Wanted to try this course and did. Wasn't impressed at all. You average run of the mill central Pennsylvania public golf course.

It's one of the best gems 9 hole golf courses. Donald Ross course which makes every shot a challenge. You'll enjoy the fall colors and wild life roaming throughout. Call for tee times.
