In summary

Maple Crest Golf Course is praised for its welcoming atmosphere, scenic location, and friendly staff, making it an enjoyable spot for both casual and more competitive golfers. Many visitors appreciate the reasonable pricing and quality food at the clubhouse. However, some golfers express concerns about the condition of the greens and the overall maintenance of the course, suggesting that it may not meet professional standards. Despite these issues, the course offers a fun and relaxed experience, especially for those looking for a less crowded and informal golfing environment.

If having a welcome for all attitude, is your thing Maplecrest is the right place to play golf for you. Rolling hills and a well established course offering shade from tree cover to wide open fairways. Provides a little of everything you could ask for in Cental Pa Also the club house food is well above average as far as quailty and quantity at a reasonable price point.

Nice little course in Portage, PA. I would not say it is a good value because it's actually just as expensive to play as Sylvan Hills and King Valley but the grounds crew at Maple crest is obviously not as professional. Looks like might not have the correct type grass at the greens? Grass on greens just looks like it's been cut too short and is dead mixed thru with the green spots which also makes for mud spots. The greens look like a wrinkled up rug due to never being leveled and that's cool for a hole or 2 but not all 9 greens. Don't ask for a consistent putting game cuz you won't get it her…

Had two golfing partners on Saturday. It was a good day to play nine holes. First time golfing here, it's a pretty nice course. Lexi's a great bartender!

Very poor conditions if you would like your putt to roll at a snails pace and hit a few bumps along the way then go ahead and play here you will also be able to take in some nice scenic ant hills on the greens. Layout is good, potential is there but execution is poor.

Who ever designed this golf course needs to be reviewed on their degree or expertise. Also don’t come on Monday or else you’ll get behind the ladies that are in the women’s league they take so long getting their ball out of the woods you start to think it’s girls scout camp up here. And then when you and two other groups are clogged up the ladies just play through while your teeing off just so they can go track a deer in the woods. All in all just don’t come on Monday and expect not to see the the flag when you tee off good luck. Decent course Subpar women Good price Awesome fast carts

Always fun to golf here with friends. Monday morning scramble for all skill levels, leagues, discounts on Weds and Fridays and you can usually find someone to share a round with you. Just bring your clubs! :)

Maple Crest Golf Club is a little golf course hidden in the hills of Pennsylvania. It's a great place for a scramble type outing. The clubhouse is set up very nice and the food is great.
