In summary

Pleasant Valley Golf Course receives praise for its beautiful setting, friendly and accommodating staff, and affordable pricing. Many appreciate the welcoming atmosphere, especially at the bar, and note improvements under new management. However, there are consistent criticisms regarding the poor condition of the greens and overall maintenance, with some suggesting the course requires significant attention to reach its full potential.

I really wanted to absolutely love it here. The views are absolutely impeccable. The course however, not so much. Don't get me wrong it was enjoyable, I had fun. But the greens were rolling a Stimp of 4 and in terrible condition. The rough was chock full of dandelions making it difficult to find errant shots. (I know, just hit the fairways. Problem solved 😂) honestly though, if the course management was better they would have tee times booked out for weeks.

What a beautiful course! Second time golfing and the other golfers and staff were more than welcoming! We really enjoyed chatting with the gentleman at the bar after golfing 18 holes. We will be back! Thank you!

Lowest class of golfing you can find. Zero accountability for their actions. No kind of business structure. This place is a joke. Hopefully they’ll be turned to a nature reserve.

Was so excited to attend the drag show hosted there. The business suddenly canceled because they gave into keyboard warriors who dont even support the business. Shameful

The course was in terrible condition. There were no playable greens on the course. Most of the fairways weren’t cut so you could hear the grass hitting the bottom of the cart. Good luck finding your ball here (you won’t). This place was not worth $25 for 9 holes. I don’t intend on golfing here again unless it’s for free or a fundraiser. In all the places I’ve played I’ve never paid for a round and had to give them my drivers license and allow them to hold it until we finished. 0/5 stars

A great value for the money. I walk 18 and pay $20! The views are tremendous and it truly is pleasant to be there. The ownership is working on the greens have done a good job in improving the overall condition of the course. The 19th hole is perfect for an inexpensive drink after or during your round too. I enjoy my times at the course very much!

The 19th hole is such a friendly atmosphere, love the barkeep! Great place to socialize and it's the home of the $2.00 beer! Golf course is very well kept. Wonderful family owned and managed. There is also a banquet hall available for rental. The golf course is very well maintained. The bar is very clean and Sis always goes above and beyond to accommodate customers. Love love love this establishment and the family ❤️

I played here in July and this course looks abandoned. Putting on the green is impossible as the ball just bounces around like a game of plinko. Tee boxes didn't even have markers on them. The scenery is nice and this was probably a great course before, but it's in ruins now.

The course has potential, but the greens are too slow. They need cut lower. Otherwise the course is playable. A great place to work on your game. The twilight special (after 4pm) gives you all you can play and a cart. Certainly worth doing. The owners are friendly and accommodating and the bar is a good time. I highly recommend the pizza (the only food they offer).

No greens. I love the course and hope they make a better "go" of it, but there is a lot to take care and it needs major attention.

Fun course to play. The greens aren't fast but the layout makes up for it. I had a really good time. The staff was friendly and the beers were cold. God bless America.
