Schoolhouse Nine Golf Course

Thoroughly disappointed to find the course today in its current condition. The hole on #5 looked as though someone beat it with their putter. And those greens lost to disease or heat or too much moisture made putting impossible. The bunkers have little or no sand. Whatever the reason for it’s condition doesn’t matter, I don’t plan to return anytime soon.

A buddy and I really enjoyed this 9hole ALL par 3 course. Very good for beginners and advanced players. Greens are in great shape and challenging. Oh and the best part $15 for all day play. We got in 3 rounds with time to play more. Other players we ran into had all good things to say as well. I definitely will be going back. Great experience

2nd time playing there, Got an Ace on hole 7 with my friend it was awesome. That makes two in my lifetime. Fun place will return when it gets cooler.

Superb 9 hole iron only golf course. Beautiful mountain backdrop that begs for photo ops. The cost? $15 unlimited holes during the week and < $30 on the weekend. Perfect pub/bar for in between 9 holes or destination for post rounds. Sperryville is a great day trip for golfers and families.

I had not played for quite a while but today drove from Fredericksburg to play a bit of golf. Had a great experience. The course was fun and challenging and the people were friendly and welcoming. My wife and I had lunch at the Headmaster Pub and the food was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and made us feel like locals. I'll be returning there shortly and often.

Food was excellent. Fun place for kids and family. The gym of the school has been turned into a family fun center. If your not with your family dining and the bar area is desperate. Desert was yummy. Organic beef burger was the right choice for me.

The coursecwas in great condition for the price and was very relaxed environment.

Ate at the restaurant- once a school gym....excellent food.and-the bacon! Oh, the wonderful Virginia bacon! Great , attentive staff...highly recommended...don't forget the Home made biscuits--- holy Toledo are those things tasty!

My 89 year old Dad and I play once a week. It is a great 9 We have played many 9's but the views the Staff Gail and Robin are 5 star and the course is always fun, fair and kept up. Thank you!

The course deserves a four, the value a five, but you better bring exact change and your own scorecard as the service is sometimes awful. Yesterday morning a tall bearded young man - the only one working apparently - would not take my money or give me change till he counted out a several inch wad of hundreds of one dollar bills. He only grunted something when I asked if he'd give me change first. He did not. He said nothing. I just wanted to pay up and get going. He took over five minutes and them seemed unable to open the cash register. He did not ask if I needed a score card or anything else…

Good place for lunch and a break. Love the Reuben sandwich. Fries are crispy and not soggy or oily. Nice sized portions. Sweet tea is 🥰.

This is a par 3, 9 hole golf course. Set in Sperryville, VA. Beautiful layout, you can walk it in an hour. Very inexpensive.
