AWESOME course and a tremendous value. Gorgeous scenery, and so many dramatic and interesting holes. We played in late October; the fairways and tee boxes were in great shape but the greens were a little rough. But at $50 per person with cart, you just can't beat it.

Fun course to play. Nice scenery and every hole is different. Wide fairways allow some room for mishits. Fairways were in good shape--I never had a bad lie. About half the greens were fine. About half had rough areas but still playable. It's not country club conditions but overall pretty good and well worth $45 including cart on a Sunday.

10 out of 10! This course is the definition of a hidden gem! Living in the Norther Virginia area it was a breath of fresh air to find South Wales. I paid $45 to play 18 holes with a cart and it only took me 2 hours and 20 minutes. They space out the tee times perfectly! Course was in great shap minus a handful of greens but the damages were more towards the outer edges. The front 9 is narrow and challenging and the back 9 is more relaxed with open fairways. I will definitely be making this my new go to course!

Great course with wide fairways that make it great for your casual/beginner golfer. Great prices on rounds, food, and beverages. While some greens can be a bit bumpy at times, the course has enough interesting and challenging holes to keep it fun. Course is in peak condition in spring and fall, but fun all year round.

I’ve been playing this course for 10 Years and this is the best I’ve seen it look! Always a fun time but they are really on to something now. Even in light ran the greens had great run and couldn’t have asked for a better day of golf!

I played at this course last weekend and had a fantastic time! The course was in great condition, with well-maintained greens and fairways. The layout was challenging but fair, offering a good mix of holes for all skill levels. What really stood out was the friendly and helpful staff, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The clubhouse had a great selection of food and drinks, perfect for relaxing after a round. Overall, a top-notch golfing experience and I can't wait to play here again!

We played on Nov 8th. Perfect day for golf. One of our go to courses. Price is perfect for 18 holes, course will challenge you. Front 9 i shot well back 9 I fell apart. If you have time to play take the ride to South Wales its worth it. Staff helpful and very friendly. I will be back soon and cant wait!!!

My wife and I played there this past weekend. We had never played the course. The course is a pretty-old style golf course, the front nine runs along a stream that splits the front nine. The back nine looks like it was added later and is much longer. I played from the tips and the par 3's are much longer. I enjoyed the contrast from the front to back nine holes. There are some reviews in here that aren't favorable to the course. After speaking with Barry inside the golf shop, he mentioned that earlier in the year, the course received 14-17" of rain and they lost as many greens and had to buil…

This course was absolutely horrendous I don’t recommend for anyone to play here save you money, time and mental health by driving an extra 45 minutes to play at a nice course. The greens were in the fairway literally yardages were off it was not an enjoyable time. I added a picture of the cow field greens below.

Course has a great layout on the play, but yet challenging enough for the average golfer. Love the great sceneries that you can see from the tee boxes. always having a great time when I’m out with my friends playing a challenging course

Fun course layout with terrible pace of play on weekends. Bumpy greens and terrible fairways. Asked for a rain check after 9 to come back and give it a second chance but they refused due to ownership. Easy to score but hard to enjoy, I hope they figure it out!

So we will start with the positives Layout of course is great Scenery is great as well Most staff was friendly ( most not all ) Now sadly the bad All fairways were just dead grass and dirt All greens felt as if they had wooden boards or concrete under and torn up terrible your put will do a hop step For the price was disappointed Overall layout was nice but just the overall condition of the course made it depressing coming from NY where our weather is worse even our Muni courses are in better condition .
