In summary

Riverby Hills Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout with distinct front and back nines, and friendly staff. Many players enjoy the course's elevation changes and reasonable pricing. However, some visitors have experienced slow pace of play due to tightly packed tee times, and there are occasional concerns about customer service and cart path conditions.

The course was in great shape. Especially in the past few years I’ve played it. The greens are about perfect. Not real fast, but in great shape! Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely play there more often!

Great find for us while traveling thru Toledo area. The back nine had several beautiful holes. Lots of elevation and sloping fairways. Rough was grown out. A challenging course at a reasonable price.

- Probably best bang for your buck course near Toledo. - great conditions, fast greens, long fairways, quality thick rough, cement cart path, 4 Tee boxes & friendly staff. - Pace of play is great!

I have always loved playing Riverby! Over the years, they have lost a lot of trees. But their rough makes up for it because it is difficult at times to locate your ball and make it difficult to make good contact on your shot. With all the hot and humid weather, the greens were pretty slow. Riverby is a good test of golf! I would love to play it again when my game was in better shape.

New to golfing this year, and first time golfing at this course. My fiancé went in to pay for us both he was paying for 18 holes and me 9 holes. The guy told him what to pay and said when your partner gets here you are good to go. So we started out golfing eventually another person came back and said we only paid for one person, which is fine so we went and paid. When we went to pay the guy said “$42 seems pretty cheap huh?” Well yes it does I suppose but you also said good to go, and truthfully having to pay for 9 holes for me and plus for me to continue to ride with my fiancé to finish the r…

Outstanding course! Fair and challenging. Very well maintained and for the most part patrons fill divots and fix ball marks on the greens. Was disappointed to find that they had closed the range. The cart paths are a different story. They haven't been updated, it seems, in more than 20 years. Prepare to go off-roading! And hold on to your drinks. If you have them in the cup holders and try and drive on the cart paths, you'll have no drinks. Granted it was a Saturday morning but the course was incredibly overbooked. We had a 9:15 tee time and were more than 20 minutes behind. Turned into a mo…

The course isn't bad, the design isn't bad and for the most part the coarse is taken care of, however, they pack the tee times WAY too tight, on the back 9 we ended up waiting more on the backup of groups in front of us than golfing, which completely ruins the experience. And is what I'm basing my experience off of. The coarse is fine, and I'd like to play another time, but waiting for absurd amount of time on groups in front of you and nearly getting hit by golf balls from golfers behind you is NOT my idea of fun.

I havent been here in over 10 years so my course knowledge was a bit foggy. This is one of those courses with night and day front/back sides. The front side is pretty much medium length flat, straightaway holes through lightly wooded fairways with not much water, basic ho hum course. The back gets really interesting. The majority of the holes are very hilly with up and down fairways, lowered greens, elevated greens, very fun and challenging. A couple of shorter par 4's that are neat. A stream runs through several holes and a pond on 11/12 that could ruin you.Overall condition was good, especial…

Greens are as good as I’ve ever seen them. Nearly perfect, rolling true and at a decent pace. Overall, keeping course in nice shape throughout a dry stretch.

Paid for 18. There was 1 group that held up the entire course. We finished 9 holes in 2:50 so I went in and asked if we could get any sort of refund/raincheck since we weren’t going to go out and play another 9 when it’s taking that long. His response “that’s golf”. I asked if they had a ranger and he said yes. This has happened many times before here. Poorly managed, and tee times are scheduled on top of each other. Nice course if you’ve got 6 hours to burn.
