In summary

Fallen Timbers Fairways is appreciated by some for its laid-back atmosphere, affordability, and availability of tee times, making it a convenient choice for casual outings with friends. However, many visitors express dissatisfaction with the course's maintenance, citing issues with fairways, greens, and tee boxes, as well as concerns about management and staff interactions. While the clubhouse amenities, including a bar and upcoming BBQ restaurant, receive positive remarks, the overall condition of the course and customer service are frequently criticized.

There are definitely better courses but it’s 5 minutes from my house and laid back. People are nice. Edit: This place needs to lower their green fees. Easily the worst course in the area, but I could excuse it since it was $35 for 18 holes with a cart. Now it’s $44 and I can play Valleywood or Brandywine for cheaper or the same. Both miles better. It it’s current condition they should offer your a 4 wheeler instead of a cart.

Never had a bad time here!! For the most part can always get a tee time and it’s a good price! This course is me and my friends go to choice to have a fun time!

Closest course that my friends & I play on often in the summer. Rounds are cheaper then other places & tee times are abundant. If you’re looking for a laid back round with friends this is a great place! Forget all the negative reviews, those folks have their putters up their rear ends. FTFW FOR LIFE!!! :)

Place is a hidden gem. Hubs loves to golf. They have a FULL bar. Tons of golf carts. Big tvs. Heck even if you're close just come and enjoy the bar! They have keno. Plenty of beers on tap. And soon they will have a BBQ restaurant open up! Get a golf cart and enjoy some rounds. They are part of the sparks golf too

Honestly, any other course in the greater Toledo area is better than Timbers. Used to charge $15 for 9 holes but now it’s $26 and the money certainly doesn’t go to maintaining the course. Half the fairways are dead grass or dirt, none of the greens are nice, and every single tee box is a mess of divots and dirt unless you plan on playing from blue. Golf carts are all trashed with ripped up seats, there is simply no reason to pay the price they ask with the quality given. Better off going to Brandywine or any other course. Maybe the price would be justifiable if they gave an explanation to wher…

Price is good…greens in good shape other than golfers refusing to fix their ball marks. Course can be punishing with narrow fairways and water and woods. Under staffed for sure. Still has good potential if some money could be it into it.

Potentially one of the worst golf courses I have ever played. Only went here because of cheap walking prices with last minute tee times available. The condition of the course was a disgrace to the game of golf. Im not sure why their have “fairways” in their name, because they were nonexistent. It’s essentially a land fill with pathetic attempts at greens and tee boxes. Everything was trashed. The folks who play here have no etiquette and are mutually clueless. Just stay home and take some swings in your garage - you're better off.

The elderly woman behind the counter was extremely impolite and made the whole experience upsetting. Felt entirely unwelcome. I had a tee time and showed up 5 minutes early but it took this absolute specimen of nature about 13 to go to the counter, then she made a snide remark about me being late, as if that wasn’t her fault. Course is decent, but staff, and specifically this employee is just flat out rude and possibly evil

Course is awful! Might not play there again if it was free! Confusing which green I'm playing! Panhandled by kids 3 different times. Kids also playing on the course...not golfing but running around and screaming. I do not recommend what so ever. Wont be back.

Made a tee time at 8:00 on a weekday and when I arrived, they said we did not have a tee time. They let us go off and then didn’t turn the sprinklers off for the first 4 holes. To follow that up, one of the greens crew members was mowing the greens and almost seemed like he was trying to get in our way. He even sped up right behind my playing partner as they were about to chip. Course was not in great condition either. Needs a lot of care with hard tee boxes and dead patches in the fairway. Poor experience.

It's been at least 10 yrs since I've played here, and it used to be really nice. That being said, I tried to golf here today, and it was absolute garbage. Everything was like playing on concrete because it probably only gets water when it rains. The tee boxes were bare ground, at least one with gravel on it, and some of them you can't even get a tee in. Played an unmarried hole that should've been #9 to then find #9 where #17 should've been. I would give the course negative 5 stars if it was an option. Do yourself a favor..if they tell you that you can golf for free, go pay $100 to play anywhe…
