Course is always great. Played here a few times now. But today my wife called while i was on the course and said that we need to take our daughter to the doctor. I finished up the front 9 and came into the clubhouse to try and receive a rain check for the back 9. The old man in there was so rude to me saying that my daughter’s appointment is not health related and there is no bad weather so i will not receive a 9 hole rain check after paying for 18 this morning! I will NEVER come back. And i WILL spread this word to EVERYONE! Thanks alot ponce….

Don’t get me wrong, this course is beautiful and in excellent condition, however in my opinion this course and several inside the village are not senior golfer friendly. Elevated greens surrounded by zoysia grass which makes it almost impossible to run the ball on the green. They do have senior tees but they tend to get frequent rains along with watering which limits your tee ball roll out. Very few level lies even in the fairways which produce errant shots. Great courses if you can hit the ball a long ways, but seniors usually don’t score very well. Makes me wonder why they would design cours…

Ponce De Leon is likely in my Top 3 of all publicly available HSV courses [i.e. Diamante is a 5 star normally but it's also private]. Great layout that is both fun and challenging. Green complexes are superb just the same [as with every other HSV course when aeration has been fully completed and "healed"].

The course is well maintained and more difficult than it looks. Hole placement makes the course even more challenging.

Beautiful golf course. Friendly people but don't go to the food area. Very unfriendly. The woman up front was super slow. She's has either been there too long or needs help

Had a great time. Even with some rain in the area over the weekend, we were still able to do 90 degrees on most holes. Mulligans was nice to have there for some pre-round breakfast. A bit of a bummer you can't hit your woods on the driving range, but they were organized, the course was beautiful and in good shape, and we had a great day.

Had a 2:12 tee time but gentleman in pro shop allowed us to go ahead and play. It was about 1:45. Course had been punched recently but that was ok. Greens were decent but spotty with unrepaired ball marks. Wife and I played the first 8 holes in about 1hr 35’. On #9 there were 3 carts and 5 players. Thought they would let us pass at the turn, but they didn’t. On #10 things got really slow as it was apparent they were tourists who did not understand golf courtesy. 5 players with no knowledge of pace of play, hitting mulligans all over the place, not playing ready golf, waiting until their turn t…
