In summary

Pinehurst Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly and welcoming staff, affordable pricing, and a challenging 9-hole layout that offers a variety of hole lengths and interesting greens. The course is particularly noted for its family-run atmosphere and additional amenities like simulators. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the condition of the fairways and tee boxes, as well as inconsistent maintenance of the greens, which can affect play.

Played here last weekend I know it fall golf but it was kinda rough!! Tee boxes are beat with the exception of 1 or 2 of them. I was optimistic when the new ownership took over there first couple years that the course was on the up and up, new carts, remodeled clubhouse/bar, and simulators unfortunately that never transferred to the course itself. The worst part of the course is the condition of some of the trees, would never want to get underneath one on a windy day. Staff is nice and they charge accordingly for course conditions. Owners have a loyal following by some of the ratings

Nice 9 hole course. Friendly staff. Some difficult holes. Some fairway are a bit too close to another.

You won't confuse this Pinehurst with the one in Carolina, but it is a very nice track for a round of golf. The owners greet you at the clubhouse and really set the tone: welcoming, helpful and glad you selected their course. While some of the turf may not be in the best of shape, the greens are. And you better have your eye dialed in once you're on them: ridges, slopes and undulations make them tough. The card says the course plays to 6220. There are some long holes and a couple of the par 3s are short but the variety in length on this 9-hole layout will have you pulling clubs. The price is r…

Has become my favorite place to play golf. Awesome friendly staff. Course has been in nearly perfect condition throughout the year. They run tournaments awesomely for a 9 holes course. They also do have virtual golf. If you are new, they go out of their way to explain everything to you and also there to assist you if you need help. Recommend.

Had a nice time golfing, but a couple things I noticed were the thick grass clippings in the fairway rough, never seen that before on a golf course. It can present numerous challenges from finding your ball if you miss the fairway to fighting the rough and the clippings when hitting your ball from the rough. The greens didn't seem to be in very good condition. Every putt the ball had bounce to it, some greens were fast and some slow very inconsistent. Friendly staff and other golfers on the course. Would play again next time I am in town cannot beat the price.

It was off season when I went. Every garbage can was overflowing with beer cans. We spent a lot of time waiting as fairways all run very tight to each other so golfers were golfing in each other's fairways. It's not a bad course overall just not my favorite in the area. Course was average difficulty. Looked like there had been a big tournament the day before as it was pretty beat up. A lot of divots left on the greens. Staff was very friendly.

Not really the owners fault but felt obligated to leave because other stuck up golfers were mad at my friend and I for golfing at the hole they wanted? Yeah makes sense! I felt they were mad because we were females and young. May not go back because of this, but that is every golf course. There were friendly employees. Still kinda mad about the other golfers, but nice place!

I haven't played there since late 80's early 90's when the big barn and this really great old guy ran it alone. He was awsome! It was a great course then, and probably still is. He built it, and it was grape vineyards. I always enjoyed it, and yes, it is a very long nine hole course, well worth playing! I don't know if the barn is still there with the clubhouse in the basement of the barn or not, but it was pretty slick! I kind of miss the place living out here in Utah now.

This by far was the worst golf course I have ever been to. Day starts out, the pro shop employees stated they wouldn't take coupon that stated it was for that course. Tee boxes were not mowed, fairways were all weeds. Earlier in the day it rained and course was basically a river running thru it. To top it off it cost $23 dollars to golf 18 holes with a coupon. I would not recommend this dump to anyone .

Great 9 hole course, easy to navigate. Pin placements can make it challenging. A fun course to play walking or riding; pleasant personalities in the clubhouse.

Nice little course for the price...People are friendly and you can usually just walk on...Greens are small and domed making putting a real challenge...Depending on pin placement, you can quickly go up and over to other side of green.....
