In summary

Pine Bay Golf Course is frequently praised for its friendly staff, well-maintained grounds, and unique features like the challenging island green. The course offers a relaxed atmosphere suitable for both beginners and seasoned golfers, with a scenic setting that many find appealing. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the course's value for money, occasional maintenance issues, and the management of tee times for single players.

I’m new to golfing and the staff is super cool and nice about it. Great course condition and theres some good challenges in the later holes with water hazards if you like that. All in all a wonderful beautiful golf course near derby to go after work.

The nice little course nine holes, no sand traps it's got a few water hazards. It has no one giant one call the island. sunk a lot of my lunch money in the golf balls in that island or around that island. The island is the most challenging part of the course,, the rest is not too difficult it's a good getaway for a day of golf and relaxation.

Been going here for awhile, and spending my money there for some time. Tried to get a tee time for myself, just me. They said no because they save those tee times for three or four n a group. I said seems like you don’t like money. All I got was call tomorrow and talk to my boss. The course is really not that great and there is a bunch of slow play going on, kinda where the beginners go to practice. Spend your money somewhere else because pine bay is making too much money to worry about single players. Kinda seems dumb to me, a single player won’t bother anyone quick and won’t hold your groups…

Great gold course to bring the family. Kept up really well and a place to get away and relax chilling a few golf balls. Will come back again and would recommend this course to anyone. Beginner or advanced will enjoy this course. Always a good time golfing with family and friends at Pine Bay Gold Course.

Nice little 9 hole golf course. 1st time golfing and tried this place out with a friend and it was great. They give you a cooler and sell beer. The cart was in great shape and fully charged. The course was in pretty good shape and they do a decent job and up keeping the field. Overall satisfied with the experience and place.

We were on the road and wanted 9 holes of golf at a local course. We hit the bonus round at Pine Bay. First and foremost the owner/operator made us feel at home and was so helpful, not just getting us out, but helping us find a fun place to spend the night and have dinner. The course itself had some very fun holes, no pretense, but just a nice place to play golf.

Played here twice, just not worth the hassle for me. I golf 2-3 times per week, and I live right down the street from this course. I wish things were different. First round was sometime last year - guy charged me $55. For a 9 hole course. Off 63rd and hydraulic. Really I was charged for a full cart instead of half, but then my buddy who came after I checked in was charged the correct amount. It’s not a busy course, sure mistakes happen, but I’m not gonna raise a stink over $15 or whatever. But these guys watch you like hawks (see later), so I’ll take the high road and chalk that one up to negl…

I love this little course. It's just a 9 hole course but it's plenty challenging and very peaceful and spread out. We will definitely be back.

A bit expensive for a shorter 9 hole course but it's a good one. You won't need your driver much. Try to catch it when there is a deal going on. Nice people and a nice little area. Has an island green also. You should give it a try!

Clerk at the desk in the clubhouse was extremely friendly. Thats the only good thing I have to say about this place. Everything up to the approach was bone dry, couldn't even make a divot in the fairways with my wedges. Every iron shot I took shocked my wrist and shoulder. Sprinklers were going off on the greens at 3:30pm, looked like they played slow from all the water they had but again, being completely bone dry, greens were extremely fast and un-predictable to read. This course is everything but "premium" for a 9 hole. Save your money and go to a municipal course where yardage reads are…

Fun course to play, affordable, great landscaping. A bit longer than I am used to. Enjoyed the casual atmosphere. Two holes with significant water, so bring extra balls. Good hospitality from the owner Ron.
