In summary

Pequot Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly and helpful staff, as well as its well-maintained greens, which many find to be in excellent condition. The course layout is considered fun and quirky, offering a mix of challenges, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming with good amenities like food and drink options. However, some visitors have noted issues with the condition of the fairways and tee boxes, as well as occasional slow pace of play and scheduling mishaps, which can detract from the overall experience.

If you are looking for groomed fairways and a course in pristine condition then go elsewhere. This is a fantastic local course that delivers all the bells and whistles your average, or below average, golfer needs. Yes, it’s a little quirky, but who doesn’t love a quirky course? Even Alice Cooper likes it here! Tee boxes are in good condition, some even a little springy underfoot. Fairways aren’t all in great condition yet, but I’m not playing for millions on TV. Greens look good and played fast today. The staff is friendly and helpful. Nineteenth Hole is perfect, cold beer on tap, delicious fo…

This course is always a great go-to when you need 9 or 18! Accessible, friendly staff, good pricing! Green are in great condition, and the fairways are nice in the spring and summer! Wish I could rate 4.5 instead of 4.

Course was alright, staff was completely incompetent and rude… took my group 7 hours to golf 18 because they scheduled an unannounced tournament that was very poorly scheduled. I had to to clean all the trash out of my cart that was left by a previous golfer, ranger was very hostile and aggressive yelling at my group and the group behind us, we explained that we were waiting on 2 groups ahead of us and he just continued to yell at us WHILE ADMITTING THAT THE TOURNAMENT WAS POORLY SCHEDULED. Place is a dump don’t recommend to anyone trying to play a relaxing game of golf. I’ve golfed many clubs…

I had a great time playing this course, fairway grass is cut a little tall could use a tighter mow on them but didn't really impact play. Bunkers are nice and soft, greens were in immaculate condition. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I will absolutely be back to play here. It is a shorter course, so I recommend stretching those legs out and walking it! Plus it's only 23 bucks walking after 2pm, that's a deal you can't turn down.

Course in horrible condition. Fairways were burnt greens wer rough.Staff is not at all friendly. Felt like they were inconvenienced to have us there. Which was surprising as there were 6 cars in lot and most were probably staff.

Staff was friendly. What I find interesting is that they advertise this as a golf course. It’s a weird cow pasture with circles of grass that roll at a 7 on the stimp. In all honesty, I’ve never played a more sorry excuse for a “golf course” in my life.

Great course, little busy. Some of the fairways could use a little help, but it's been dry.

The bad: Fairways and tee boxes were in horrible shape. The good: Probably the nicest greens I've ever played on though. Staff was great.

The fairways were in terrible shape the tee boxes were not well manicured. The price was high for the type of course that it was. The staff was really nice and the greens were nice.

Set a tee time for 5pm online, the price included the fee to play and the cart fee. All four of us show up and go to pay and the pro shop attendant said no carts after 4:30, which was never specified when making a tee time.. This happened late last season and we thought well it is the end of the year so I get it and just walked. Also when making the tee time I tried calling to ask if the same rule still applied, nobody answered, left a message and no call back. Awesome course and great atmosphere but this is BS. Trying to play on a Friday after work and this happens.
