What People Say

In summary

Pembroke Lakes Golf and Racquet Club receives high praise for its well-maintained course, challenging layout with water hazards, and friendly, attentive staff. The club offers a pleasant atmosphere with good amenities, including a driving range and a welcoming clubhouse. However, some visitors have noted issues with course conditions not always matching the premium pricing, slow pace of play, and occasional dissatisfaction with the rain policy.

Had an outstanding experience at Pembroke Lakes Golf Club with the Kendall Golf League. From the moment we arrived, everything was dialed in. The cart setup was organized and ready to go, which made a big difference getting a large group out smoothly. The staff set the tone right away—super welcoming, attentive, and genuinely excited to have us there. It felt less like just another round and more like a well-hosted event. The course itself was in fantastic shape. Fairways were clean and playable, greens rolled true, and overall conditions really elevated the experience for everyone in our gr…

We booked by phone, quick and easy. Wait staff at bar / restaurant was great. Menu wasn't huge, but not a problem. Pro shop staff awesome. Range is cool. You hit into a lake. Starters were young guys and very friendly but not wholly attentive. Course in great but tee boxes a bit beat up. Would definitely play again.

08/10/2025: What have you done, guys? I have given 5 stars previously but this time it's a 3. It's so ridiculous that the course conditions do not match the premium price that you charge us. Many tee boxes, bunkers, fairways, and some greens are not good at all. Given the current course conditions, the green fees should be 50% off what you're charging us. The good pictures were from the previous reviews. 11/27/2022: The course is back to its glory days from the summer down trend. Conditions from tee to green are very good although the green speed can be faster. The pace of playing can be slow…

Can’t find a better value for golf in South Florida. Greens are pure. Tight challenging course with water hazards in play on almost every hole. Bunkers have great sand to hit out of. Solid value for snack and drinks at the clubhouse. Grass driving range

Pembroke Lakes is just a solid, easygoing golf course. Nothing overly flashy, nothing pretending to host a major championship next week… just a good place to go play golf without needing a recovery day afterward. The driving range was actually really nice too. One of those ranges where you show up planning to hit a small bucket and suddenly you’ve been there 45 minutes trying to “fix one thing” in your swing like a man repairing a lawnmower with no instructions. The course itself was in good shape overall and fun to play. Greens rolled well, layout was enjoyable, and the whole place had a re…

My daughter just took up the game so all she had was a 7,PW,Driver,and putter. Put them in the wife's bag since we were visiting from far away. Was told by the ranger that all players needed to have a bag and that he would let it go this time but next time don't forget. Seriously? That's not even a rule in golf! I had 2 women and 2 men, 1 woman a beginner and we all hit from the appropriate tees. Had a threesome creeping close by the ninth so at the turn we grabbed a bite and the three went ahead to hit off the 10th. Cool, no worries, no one behind us. First 9 1hr 55m. On the 13th the ranger c…

Coming from out of town I thought this place was excellent value for the money. A little tight on the fairways but thankfully our drivers worked pretty good that day. Two gentleman working in the pro-shop were cheerful and a pleasure to deal with as was the starter. Quite a bit of water and lots of nice trees! A couple small grievances were there seemed to be a lot of maintenance going on while we were playing. Multiple tractors, reel mowers weeding crews etc. Would have been nice if more of this work took place outside of hours. Also there were a bunch of cart paths that were sand. Hopefully…

This was one of the nicest public courses I have played in a year or so here in South florida. Just played it again today. The greens were in very good shape. Running nice and true. Good fast speed, too. I did notice more weeds in the fairways and tee boxes. Could use a little more T.L.C.

Always in great condition. Has a decent practice area with grass range on weekends. I come in by myself a lot and the people in the pro shop are nice about getting me paired up. Great food at the restaurant and a snack bar to make a quick stop after 9. Can’t wait to become a member eventually 👍

Course is in excellent condition. Greens kept well and run fast. Try not to go after a lot of rain. It will be cart path only and high shots will disappear in the fairway

I love this Golf course! It's challenging but at the same time it has some give. Plenty of chances to test your driving skills as well as maintained greens that are challenging. Great course with beautiful views!
