In summary

Grand Palms Resort receives positive feedback for its friendly and attentive staff, with some guests appreciating the comfortable rooms and convenient location. However, many visitors express dissatisfaction with the outdated facilities, maintenance issues, and limited amenities, including the breakfast service and pool availability. The golf course conditions and additional fees, such as parking, also receive criticism, leading some to feel the resort does not offer good value for its price.

Check-in set the tone right away the team was genuinely attentive, and everything ran smoothly without a single hassle. Breakfast was a standout: fresh, filling, and exactly what you want before heading out for the day. The location on a quiet street made a big difference too, because we slept straight through with no outside noise. For the comfort, cleanliness, and service you get at this price, I’d book here again without thinking twice.

This is a well-worn (read: shabby) facility, that has as its only redeeming feature the friendly young ladies who staff the front desk. Like others, I like to find a good bargain in lodging every once in a while, so I took a chance on this property. It was a big mistake. The savings were not worth it. The property is not maintained, though I could see where perhaps 30 years ago it might have been a nice golfing destination. You've been warned!

TERRIBLE STAY!! We were placed in the room 154, looked on the sheets and voila, NOT ironed. And the door chain is broken, and the lock on the bathroom door is broken, and a fan in the bathroom not working. Very old nightstand lamps with NO USB chargers. There only 2 USB chargers in the room and they are located NOT next to bed. So, if there are 2 persons with 2 cell phones and 2 laptops/tablets there are no place to charge the all. In addition, I specifically book a room with a microwave and a fridge. And, guess what, room 154 has no microwave nor fridge. June at the reception was nice and gav…

The rooms are huge, however it needs a make over. I had a terrific view of the golf course. The toilet seat and sink in the bathroom are for little people 😞. The furniture inside is old looking and is very low down to the ground. The breakfast is horrible serve you suppose to be hot oatmeal which was dried up, pancakes and dried up cut pieces of sausage. No orange juice nor individual milk. The place is gorgeous on the outside, but inside needs remodeling, house keeping speaks no English I can't understand how they could hire individuals who can't communicate with the guest 😔. I was having pro…

If you’re looking for a "resort" experience, keep driving. Grand Palm Golf Resort is currently suffering from a massive identity crisis. At this point, the name is bordering on false advertising because both the "resort" building and the restaurant are completely dilapidated and shuttered. Walking past them feels less like a golf outing and more like a tour through a shanty town. The Course Conditions Unfortunately, the golf course doesn't offer much of an escape from the scenery. The Greens: They are infested with crabgrass, making a true roll nearly impossible. Tee Boxes: Neglected and unev…

The hotel itself is good, although there is an $8 per day parking fee. Unfortunately, the breakfast service was disappointing. One staff member was unhelpful and rude when we asked whether certain items contained pork, repeatedly responding that she did not know. Another staff member tried to explain, but she stopped him from doing so in a way that made us uncomfortable. Additionally, guests are not allowed to serve themselves and are limited to one or two items, which was frustrating given dietary restrictions. If breakfast service is limited, it would be better to communicate this clearly…

This motel sucks, Wi-Fi has been down the whole day and they have smart TVs so u can't even watch anything. No microwave in the room. Bring your own internet for this place.

Staff was pleasant and they are the only reason it gets a star, but this hotel is in dire need of updating and remodeling. Cracked tiles, closed off stairways, $8/ day to park (if you can find a spot becauseof the golfers!!) and seriously outdated rooms. You wouldn't know it but I RARELY complain about accommodations. But this place is more like a motel with hotel prices. Heck no. Do not recommend!!!

The pool does not work it’s been down for 2 weeks maybe more. The room bed is comfortable but the ambiance is outdated and dull. Nothing near here but Wholefoods and little shops. Need a car. To get around beach is 30 minute drive away. Breakfast is good

The hotel is in a good location but the manager is not good at managing she’s rude, disrespectful, and curses at people and when you want to talk about the security deposits they take from you they get mad about it. The rooms have roaches in them that will annoy you. They don’t have good breakfast either also they don’t even have hot water. She wants you to say without hot water and when you try to leave she’s gets mad and doesn’t give you the security deposits. And they have tumbtacks in the walls and floor also roaches will sometimes crawl on you while your sleeping worst hotel I don’t recom…

Do not stay here. Stayed here three weeks ago before getting on a cruise in Miami. There was no hot water and after driving five hours wanted to sit by the pool and the pool was closed for maintenance. Never saw anyone working on the pool. They have you sign a waiver you will not smoke and then at night all you smell is marijuana being smoked everywhere.
