Flamingo Lakes Golf Club

I’ve played Flamingo Lakes a few times now with a couple friends, and it’s one of those courses I keep coming back to even though I kinda know exactly what I’m gonna get. It’s a decent course. Not amazing, not bad… just solid. Greens are fine, roll pretty true most of the time. Nothing that’s gonna ruin your day, nothing that’s gonna blow your mind either. Just… golf. Which honestly is sometimes all you need. There are a lot of these small hills throughout the course that make it more interesting than you expect at first. Really enjoyed this round today. Not sure why it got some bad reviews. Staff was very nice. Also helpful. I bought a glove and the pro there helped me out, find the correct size for my hand. Course is in nice shape. Tight, lots of water hazards and sand. Small undulating greens and fast as hell. Loved them

The course has a lot of water but generally does not come into play. Average course that is good for all levels of golfer. The ranger followed our group for speed of play. We finished in 4 hours and 15 minutes. We were never far behind the group in front of us. He was kind of annoying.

Overall this was a poor experience. The pace of play was slow. There were no rangers on the course to regulate the pace. The carts are in poor condition and the course itself is very bumpy. I had to go back and get a new cart because the first one barely moved in forward direction. Cart person tried to get Me to use the cart. You cannot drive your cart to the car, and nobody is available to clean clubs or to carry your clubs to the bag drop. There was no cart service available and no water available on the course. Family of five, booked for four golfer. Small kid 5 year old ride along with mom and dad. Super attendant came out At hole 10 and kick us off the game because can not have 5 rider with 2 carts. I requested to have another cart and pay for it, The response was NOT ALLOW to have 3 carts at one tee box. (Spoke with check in person about small kids and junior golfers prior to start the game) definitely NOT a family oriented golf course, And could handled situation more professional instead of. “One of you have to go home if you want to continue to finish the game” WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I have to admit that I was very surprised to see how good this golf course is. The course is situated in a retirement community surrounded by condos, lakes, and white stakes that make the fairways very narrow and challenging to play. The undulating greens are small with very good speed. There are some burned spots in the front 9 greens but the newly constructed back 9 greens are very good. The approach shots need to be high for the balls to stop on the greens. Most fairways are in very good condition with some elevation changes. It's a par 71 course with about 5850 yards to play from the tip.…

Rude management. Today our family came out to play golf and we have a small child whos suck wanting to spend time and watch her family play. We check in and got the green light to go. After nine holes, one of the rangers sat watching us play and grabbed another man to kick us off the course without a word said to us. Theman he brought was kind, but would not hear us put and instead had someone else deal with the problem. Stay away. All they care about is money. The manager just won’t let you finish the game for having an extra kid on the golf for the family golf day. Ruined our day for sure. Came out with an attitude without explaining what he was saying. Just drive away and send his attendant out to stop us. Terrible manager. Never here again. Rude!

Everyone was very rude to me and my group from the beginning. We showed up on time (early), were dressed appropriately, very respectful yet they seemed to have it out for us. The course rangers followed us around for most of the 18 holes complaining about how fast we were going or how slow we were going. (we were about one shot behind the group in front the whole time and had to wait for them on several occasions. Hands down the worst golf experience I have ever received from a hospitality standpoint. My team and I came to enjoy a golf outing and the starters/pacekeepers/rangers made the day an absolute nightmare. The one guy was continually harassing us to keep pace even though we were 12 minutes ahead of time. At one point he just cursed at us and told us to hurry up even though, again, we were on pace. Even though its a nice course, the starters/pacekeepers/rangers were absolutely atrocious. Do not give this place your business.
