In summary

Palm Cove Golf & Yacht Club is often praised for its challenging and well-maintained course, beautiful setting, and friendly staff. Many appreciate the course layout and the value for money, especially with recent improvements in course conditions. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about inconsistent management practices, course maintenance issues in the past, and the challenging nature of the course for less experienced golfers.

I played a few different courses this week in Florida and was fortunate enough to be invited to play Palm Cove yesterday. The course is challenging and in great condition. I had an amazing time, it’s a beautiful course with a friendly and accommodating staff.

Management experience was extremely disappointing. I had just started my headcover company at the time, and when they asked me to rush production on headcovers for their shop, I used money I had saved up since high school to place the order for them. It was several thousand dollars out of pocket. Once the product was delivered, they stopped returning emails and messages altogether. It’s hard not to feel like they assumed they could take advantage of a new business. If they can’t or won’t pay a relatively small invoice, it raises serious concerns about their professionalism and long-term stabil…

I played there 2x this week. What a privilege it was to play at this new, exclusive club! The course conditions were superb and the character of the course was so much fun; fair and challenging. Service was also second to none. Best kept secret in town.

Update see below.. Played this course last week just as TS Debby was rolling in. Cheap, you get what you pay for. $40 for the round, greens in terrible shape, no maintenance to be seen. Fairways were ok but had patches of different grass, or weeds. They do have a range of about 8 slots. A bucket of stained, cut, and old golf balls will cost ya $5. The bucket is maybe 15-20 balls. No GPS on the carts, but they do have a course book hole by hole handout. The course is very narrow and challenging. A lot of waste area to carry if you play from the yellow which are the tips. (Approx. 6200 yds)…

This is a very well maintained course! Beautiful views, greens and fairways are well maintained. Great FULL bar, and to go food ordering after the 9th hole. That being said, this is a challenging course! Very narrow fairways, fast greens, and water traps off the narrow fairways for almost every hole. I’m a beginner golfer, so it was very challenging for me. Maybe stay clear unless you have a little more experience! But the golf now deal I got for $22 for 18 wholes on a beautiful course was too good to pass up!!

Fun course, but management is terrible. Asked us to expedite headcovers for their shop which cost several thousand dollars and now won’t return emails or messages. If they can’t pay a bill for a few thousand how long before they fold?

Jan and I showed a beautiful home in Palm Cove today on the golf course. Our clients loved it and may make an offer. It is listed by Tiana Honey with Berkshire Hathaway. Tiana is a very professional agent and a credit to BH. Her on line pictures are excellent!

I have been playing this course for several years. The condition between this year and last year has been noticeable. The fairways are in good shape even with the frequent rain. The greens are much better with a few areas still needing some care. I have always liked the layout with every hole a new challenge and the different tee boxes giving you a different look as well. The nature with the egrets , sandhill cranes, hawks and an occasional alligator is outstanding. The staff is also very pleasant and professional.

I’m going to start by saying we were down in Stuart, FL on vacation and wanted to play a round of golf at a nice course. We had an odd number, 5 guys, which I know is not ideal, but it was a guys' weekend, and we wanted to play. We booked an early tee time and showed up early to play. Before we even got to the door of the clubhouse to go inside and pay, the cart guy and some other guy (who l assume was in charge) started getting real nasty with us because there were 5 of us. Before I could even say anything or tell him we didn’t mind being split up, he just continued to lecture us. So, that s…

The course itself was in fair shape. But my review is based on the layout. If you like a tight course with houses crowding many of the fairways and greens, then this is for you. If your a beginner or don't have complete control of your shots, then you may be nervous due to the houses. On a positive note, the attendant or ranger was very accommodating and pleasant.

let's start with the fact that the community this course is in is infested with multi million dollar homes, so, one would think the course would be in fantastic condition, i assure you that is not the case, it is nowhere close to the standard a course in this type of community Should be in, and we were told it's in the best condition it's been in for quite some time! I understood from my research it was a shotmakers type of course, i was up for that challenge, however, this one takes it a step beyond that! It is not a course for anyone who is not 100% on their game! And made worse by the condi…

I'll share the good and the bad. Good: the price was great at 110. For 2 people with cart. Beautiful homes surrounding the course. Great Lay out. Bad: the worst conditions I've ever seen. Greens are diseased and full of weeds and mold. Was like putting in the parking lot. Fairways were dry and your ball ran forever. The tee box grass was so high it was like hitting from the rough. Signage was poor and you took your life in your hands when crossing the bridges. Such a shame to let a beautiful course like this go.
