In summary

Hammock Creek Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, beautiful layout, and friendly, attentive staff. The course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, offers a challenging yet accessible experience with wide fairways and well-kept greens. However, some visitors have noted issues with the pace of play and the pricing of food and services, suggesting room for improvement in these areas.

Well maintained golf course with a lot of interesting holes. Although the course is surrounded by the community, almost the entire course felt secluded from the surrounding homes. There are four long Par 5s that make for a long course. My only gripe, and it’s minor, is that the greens often felt like they blended right into the fairways. I would definitely play here again if the opportunity presented itself.

I got four words for you: 7 minutes between foursomes!!!! This obnoxious pace of play is nothing but pure greed. They built a new clubhouse (8/10) and now trying to recoup the cost by pacing the entire course 7 minutes apart. Also: make sure to be at the starter station about 5 - 10 minutes prior to your round, any closer to start time and if he has a foursome he knows, he will let them go first and you start 7 minutes later. All in all the course is 7-8/10. The restaurant is OK but the girls or cook are slowwwww. Call them from the 9th hole for a breakfast burrito and you're guaranteed not to…

Nice course. I just think ownership needs to do something about enforcing rules. The poor language that comes out of golfer’s mouths and is screamed all over the course is trashy. There are families that have to listen to that.

I loved this Nicklaus designed course. The layout was very open, with wide forgiving fairways but the bunkers and penalty areas were designed to test your game. The tees were good to challenge beginners and experienced players. By far the best part of the course were the greens. They were rolling very fast and true, it was hard to find a bump or inconsistency. I will be back!

Superb in every way! I got there and they were having a teens pga sanctioned tournament! There were hundreds of people leaving cause it was almost done ! I was immediately sent out after paying my fees ! What a great afternoon ! A Jack Nicklaus design !!! With “generous fairways” as the Golden Bear himself describes it !!! Looking forward to return !

I played the course for the first time and found it to be very challenging, and fun. I would love to join a league there if they are accepting new members.

Great experience! The service staff, every one, is friendly and helpul. The NEW carts are quick, clean, and responsive. Tees have challenging choices for your game. Fairways are grass-green. Thanks to the Superintendent for a well-maintained course!

less than stellar experience over the weekend. we were overcharged after using our south florida golf pass, when we inquired about it we were pushed off a manager who " didn't know how to fix it" play was pretty slow, even for summertime. this is the first time we've seen a groundperson dispensing horse manure/fertilizer DURING play. With the winds that day the smell was blowing directly on us and getting into our eyes and faces. Pricing was high compared to other courses in the area, almost $20 for a burger and a hot dog after the round. probably better places to play close by like the flor…

A little expensive for summer conditions ($80) We've had rain (it is Florida summertime), but I would still expect the traps, at least a few, to be raked professionally by the course - they were muddy and unplayable. Fairways had been punched and we were not informed. Layout of course was good, water was available on the course , but overall experience didn't warrant the price.
