In summary

The Florida Club is frequently praised for its excellent course conditions, well-maintained greens, and challenging layout, offering a serene and picturesque golfing experience. The staff is generally regarded as friendly and professional, and the course's setting provides a sense of isolation despite nearby houses. However, some visitors have noted issues with pace of play management and high pricing, while a few have reported negative experiences with bar and restaurant service.

The course is in fantastic shape and everything from Tee to Green was well manicured and pristine. The greens have a lot of character and curvature making for challenging and memorable putting. Not a lot of houses so you get a very serene round of golf. For $89, it’s a great deal given the conditions. Only complaints I have are the gnats and when we played it was CPO and they didn’t reduce the tee sheet at all and by the 10th hole, there was a four group backup.

The course is beautiful, it's well cared for, staff is excellent and it's fun to play! The conditions are better than most public courses I've played in the area, it's near private club quality. My only negative is the pricing is exorbitant, so it will be a once or twice a year play for me. I would suggest they make it a little better value by reducing rates.

Spectacular golf course and facility at Florida Club. The course is tight, firm fairways and the greens rolled so beautifully fast. This was our second course on a four round trip, and it might quite possibly be the best. Unreal for a public only track. The layout of the course made it feel quite isolated, even though some holes had lots of houses. The tree lined framed fairways added an ambience that other courses around here don't have. Greens were spectacular running fast and true. It made putting on Bermuda really fun and challenging coming from Ontario. The 18th hole was a beautiful fi…

This course is in great condition from tees to the greens, well groomed, and the scenery is wonderful as well. Pace of play was perfect. The staff was polite and professional. The course has some challenging and tricky holes, the greens run fast, better to practice at the club’s putting area before starting the rounds. The price is reasonable. I recommend it.

**UPDATE** The manager has reached out to me and was deeply apologetic that this happened. He had no idea any of this was going on and offered to buy my next round. He was very professional on the phone and sincerely sorry about my poor experience. I played here as part of a foursome, with each of us paying well over $100. From the start, we were told to keep pace because the course was very busy - which we did. There was a gap in between the us and the group in front of us so pace was not an issue for us. Despite this, a course ranger approached us a few holes in and told us to pick up the…

The Florida club is an excellent public course, the afternoon price puts it above and beyond most of the courses within 30 miles. The fairways are tight and the water can get you if you are not accurate enough. There were plenty of rolling hills and undulations in the fairways, rough and even on the greens. The greens were mostly good, rolling at a decent speed but some of them were bumpy. I noticed a couple times that the same put had different outcomes on mostly flat terrain which was disappointing. The course definitely isn't worth $110 each, but for a cheaper price, it's a nice destination…

Nice course, well maintained. They had a beverage cart in front of the cart shed but nobody servicing with it, surprising for a weekend. Pace of play demands are fast for an average player. We finished ahead of the 4 hour play time, but any group with new players or higher than Bogey average might struggle.

Amazing track. Course is in great condition, greens are fast with a lot of fun movement. Staff was friendly and starter gave an awesome intro to the course and helpful tips. Carts have great tech with the screens. Highly recommend to any and all.

I almost never leave reviews, especially negative ones, but this experience was shockingly bad. To be clear, we love the golf course itself and have always had exceptional experiences there. The course and its staff are among the best in Florida, if not the country. This review is solely about the bar/restaurant. The bar service was the complete opposite of what the rest of the property represents. From the moment we sat down, the staff was rude, dismissive, and acted as though our presence was an inconvenience. The manager in particular was EXTREMELY unprofessional and openly unpleasant, s…

This is a very nice public course with a very friendly staff. The course is a fair layout but challenging. Today, when we played, it was quite wet due to a lot of rain they had the past couple of days, so it was cart path only. Needless to say, I got my steps it today. The only issue I sort of had was with the yardage on the tee boxes. The blues play 6481 yds. and the whites play 6055 yds. Nothing in-between. No combos. I typically play around 6200 to 6300 yds. The pro shop was a bit small but had nice attire at a decent price. And the restaurant was pretty good also with a very nice menu wit…

Teed of at 8:33 pm, before we even teed off the starter was telling us to hurry up and get to the tee box. By the 3rd hole the ranger was already issuing warnings for slow play. On hole 8, we were 7 mins behind pace and being asked to skip holes to catch up. If your idea of a good time is speed golf, this is the place to go. Clubhouse did offer us a full refund and asked us to leave on hole 8. Will not be returning.

The is a course that I have been longing to play for a very long time. Today I finally played it with few other good friends. The course didn't disappoint me. The conditions are very good from tee to greens. The layouts and landscapes are naturally beautiful. It's not a difficult course with wide-open fairways and big undulated greens. However, there are few holes with water, wetlands, and doglegs seem intimidating from the tee boxes but the fairways open up wide afterwards. Green speed is relatively fast, very smooth with a lot of undulations. Some lakes along the holes dried up to the bottom…
