In summary

Olde Stonewall Golf Club is highly praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and stunning scenery, particularly on the back nine. Visitors frequently commend the friendly and accommodating staff as well as the excellent dining options available on-site. While most reviews are positive, some guests feel the course is overpriced relative to its condition, citing occasional issues with fairway and green maintenance.

The food here is excellent. You will feel like royalty. Prices are very reasonable. The service has always been great. The best part is the fact that you are in a castle. Walk around before or after your meal. There is plenty to look at. The place is beautiful.

Magnificent golf course and great food. We were there the Friday of the U.S. Open and I could tell you that I felt like every PGA tour player playing the course. Greens were tough, the fairways were welcoming, and the views were even better. Stop by anytime you’re in the Pittsburgh area for a great round.

Olde Stonewall Golf Club is a really nice course. The layout is great and the course is in really good shape. The scenery around the course makes it even better and it’s a fun place to play a round. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy golf.

First time playing here - 4 of us. 10/6/2024. Wow, is truly the first word playing here. Everything was beyond awesome. Staff was great, free range balls that also have a nice chipping spot to practice hitting out of that fescue. The front 9 kind of lures you in a bit, and the back just explodes with the views and layout. I cannot wait to play here again. We had a blast playing this course. Came from Youngstown, OH area. Make sure you hit that putting green for some practice too….these were the most difficult greens I have ever placed a putter on. Epic epic course a full 10/10

Golfed this course yesterday, October 26th 2023. Everything and everyone was on point. From the moment you dropped your clubs at the bag drop to the time they are back in the rack to be picked up. Be prepared to be in awe of the course and the staff working there. Had high expectations, and they were met within minutes of being on-site. Don't hesitate, trust me it's worth it!!

The staff was incredibly kind! They made my experience very enjoyable! from squeezing me in with a couple of regulars for a last minute tee time, to loaning me a pair of pants to meet the course dress code! They even took me back to a couple key holes for some photos after. I went early November and the Course was AMAZING! the colors were to die for! The best, and most pretty round of golf I have ever played!

$150? This course is not worth $50. Burned out fairways and greens. Divots everywhere. Greens are bumpy and not fair. I’ve played 100 better courses for under $100

For most casual golfers, this place is expensive. However, the staff makes it their business to ensure that your experience is worth every penny of the price. We played with a foursome consisting of three first-time visitors (myself being a first-timer), and I cannot compare how welcomed they made us feel. From check-in, to starters, rangers, food and drink service, everyone was friendly and treated us like they've been waiting all season just for us to show up. Given how some higher priced (and even some basic public) golf courses equate snobbery with "quality", Olde Stonewall is the exact o…

This course is very hilly and the layout is very confusing, we got lost multiple times during the round. The course and practice area is in great shape.

One of the premier golf courses in PA. From the rolling fairways along the creek to the amazing views on the mountain holes, Olde Stonewall is truly a remarkable golfing experience. No place matches the colorful fall views. Truly fantastic views! Thanks to the staff for all their hard work.

I have been a member of various country clubs in Pittsburgh for over 30 years and a member of Olde Stonewall for the last 2.5 years. When I played the course for the first time in 2018 and stood on 13th tee, the view from the tee was so spectacular that it took away my breath. I said to myself “ this is the golf course I will enjoy playing every time I step on it”. The course is very challenging but fair. Every hole is different. If you hit a drive to the fairway, you will be hitting the second shot from a flat area to a green that you can see, which is very rare in the Pittsburgh area. The c…
