The front gate security guard needs to be better informed or the building needs better security protocols. -I went to visit a friend who had just moved into this village about a month prior. When I pulled up to the gate, the security guard said that my friend who’s a resident would have to call at the front to allow me to enter, which is basic standard security. I called my friend, who lives there, in front of the security guard and told my friend that he’d have to call the front. Unfortunately due to being a newer tenant in the village, my friend did not have the phone number to the front gat…

Stayed at Ocean Villas 3. Place was very clean. Nice and cozy. Loved the beach theme. Cute floor plan/layout of the villa. Free bottle of wine! Love the walk in shower! We had access to beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Love that we are on an island! Host has been nice and responsive. Only issue was the neighbor next door thinks she's the property manager. 1st night everything was good then came out the next morning with a note taped to my window. Next day everything was good except for when we stopped by the air BNB for a quick shower before we headed to dinner... The lady next door…

Nice amenities but the main pool was closed as well with some tennis courts. The beach had a steep drop in the water so we had to drive 20 minutes to another beach. We also didnt know that this was a community with older people so everything closed early. Great landscaping and good fishing

On day two of visiting family here in February. Perfect weather. This is a Resort community but works very hard and successfully to be known primarily as a Community. Example; must wear a beach cover up when walking around outside. No towels hang over the railings, speed limit strictly enforced, 15mph. Wrist bands are color coded to differentiate among owners, renters, and guests.

Well maintained with great amenities. The golf course is great and the staff is the best. Beth was especially helpful and friendly. Also enjoyed bocce courts and shuffle board. They also have tennis and a very substantial lending library. The restaurant on the property is a great add with good food and staff. People were very friendly here too.

We ate at The Inn at Ocean Village. The view is nice, but we paid $12 for a single waffle at brunch. I mean, it was supposed to have fruit but was only 3 skinny slivers of strawberry and one blueberry in the middle. Drink not included it was VERY over priced for what you got. Waitstaff is friendly though.

Be aware that the main pool and restaurant and tiki bar are now closed for construction. They did just open a new community center with a great gym (dumbbells go up to 75 lbs) and if the renderings come to fruition for the new pool area, I'd probably rate this place 5 stars.

We have owned here for a couple of years now, and love it. The downside is when the snowbirds come down it gets so congested. We love the amenities and the restaurants are great. Not so great, the noseeums, wish there was something that could be done about it without harming the wildlife around.
