New Haven Country Club

Absolutely beautiful from the air. The golf course is perfectly kept, green and lovely. Even on a rainy day in autumn it is a sight! It sits on the shore of Lake Whitney making it even more spectacular to capture!

Wow this club is amazing! If you have the means and want to join, or just have a catered event you really can't do any better in CT. It's a destination of historic amazingness.

New Haven country club hosted my daughter’s quinceanera, and it was a fabulous experience. Karissa went out of her way to be accommodating and helpful, and was warm and professional. The servers were quick and attentive, and enthusiastically danced to the music while serving! Thank you all so much.

Watch GPS! I put in the address and it took me to the back caretaker's entrance by the barn. If you don't see the pillars that say "New Haven Country Club" you are in the wrong spot. Went for a business presentation. Decent food, clean and well kept. Would go again!

We have our holiday work party here every year and it's always a wonderful time!!! Karissa and her staff do a superb job. Beautiful atmosphere and delicious food!!!

We had our wedding at NHCC in July 2025 and it was exceptional. The facilities and grounds were perfect for what we needed and envisioned, and Karissa was the person who brought the day together for us. She was extremely responsive, kind, and detail-oriented throughout the entire planning process. The setup and breakdown of our vendors (e.g., chairs, florals, etc.) was something I didn't need to worry about after coordinating the details beforehand. This a beautiful golf course. Private course we were invited as guests but the staff treated us as we were members. Excellent eating areas with fabulous food. The course plays really well for all levels of golfers.

Hosted the 2022 Connecticut Open and they did a fabulous job. I caddied for my husband and both of us have competed on this course. The real feel was 100 degrees and inside the club house was absolutely ice cold. So refreshing!!!! Plenty of patio areas loaded with tables and "brellies" Food served was fresh and the service was top shelf. Golf course is a challenge. Greens are tough. Nice layout. The pool looked very inviting that day. Exactly what you would expect from a private club.

Private country club with a very nice golf course and pool. Clubhouse and bar/lounge are very comfortable for medium sized catering.

Amazing wedding venue. The staff and service was spot on from our first communications to all the way through the wedding night. The food was also really delicious. Everyone went above and behind to make sure we were having a great time and being taken care of. Highly recommend!
