In summary

Linden Hall Golf Course is frequently praised for its beautiful and well-maintained course, varied layout, and friendly staff. The venue's historic mansion and scenic setting make it a popular choice for weddings and events, complemented by quality food and a range of amenities including a pool and fitness center. Some visitors note that the hotel accommodations are dated and mention issues with bugs on the course, but these do not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.

We can’t put into words how incredible our experience was having our wedding at Linden Hall. My husband and I had our wedding on the weekend of August 9th this year. His mom grew up in Connellsville and brought up the place to us as a potential option. Living in Wexford, we were at first a little hesitant to consider a place that was over an hour away! We booked a tour with Rachel and from the moment we got there, we knew there was no other place for us. The great: - The property is gorgeous - The mansion is incredible - The rehearsal and wedding day food was amazing - ALL of the workers that…

Played on July 5, 2025. The course at Linden Hall is a very nice layout. It has a varied design with 5 par 5’s and an overall par of 73. No two holes have the same feel or look. The greens were not fast, but still rolled smoothly. Fairways, tee boxes and sand traps were all in good shape. Service in the sparse pro shop was friendly. At $52 on a holiday weekend it was a good value. So why 4 stars vs 5? Bugs, bugs, bugs!!! It had been a few years since I played this course and I had forgotten how “buggy” it was or I would have brought some “Off” spray. On every hole our group had fleas, gnat…

Only had time to play 9 but the course is in beautiful condition for any time of year let alone this early in spring. The staff are very friendly and the prices are great for how nice the course is. It's challenging with 3 par 5's on the front but it's fairly open too which helps less than great golfers like myself. Definitely going back to soon to play 18. Can't wait!

I can’t begin to say enough things about Lindenhall and their facilities. I’ve been coming here for years as the United States worker for training, conferences and seminars. The property here is just massive and absolutely gorgeous. They have a golf course on the facility if you’re looking to play a couple rounds. They have a fitness facility to burn off some of the calories after eating the food. The rooms are still decorated like they’re from 1970 but who really cares about that because the majority of your time is spent enjoying the property or in a conference or at the bar. The bar is a ve…

The scenery was breathtaking, and the century old mansion was an amazing backdrop for photos. We had a spectacular catered dinner on our last night there. The steak was tender and well spiced, and the salmon was flacky yet still moist.

It is a must see place …. You take a walk back in time to a beautiful house with all the amenities. I won’t say anymore and spoil it for you but a great day trip and you can even play some golf if you’re a golfer.

We just had our daughter’s wedding there this past weekend. I can’t say enough about Rachel and the staff there! Rachel is phenomenal at her job! The wedding and reception were beautiful! We told her what we were looking to do, and she used her talents and expertise to create a beautiful day! The staff is so very helpful and attentive! Everyone raved about the food! And the venue and views were nothing short of amazing! Linden Hall is truly a hidden little gem! I can be picky, and I would recommend this venue hands down!!!

A little out of the way, but the golf course is in better condition than most during this drought. The greens and fairways are in great condition. The food at the restaurant was very good as well.

What an incredible place with a great story. The facility is amazing with a very nice staff. We were there for a wedding, it was like something out of a Hallmark movie. I cannot say enough about the grounds and mansion.

Such a cool place to seek and find. Saw it pop up on my map while driving in the area and decided to have a lovely outdoor lunch at the pub. This place is owned by the Steel Worker Union now, or something like that, but has a really interesting history. The pub isn't much to look at (as it is away from the mansion), but the food was very good. The best Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and the fries were good too. Nice Beer selection and just a lovely waitress. I wish I lived closer so I could frequent this place. Make sure to drive around the property while there. There is also a connector path to th…
