What People Say

In summary

L.C. Boles Golf Course, located on the College of Wooster campus, is appreciated for its beautiful and relaxing setting, friendly staff, and suitability for quick rounds or practice. The 9-hole course is noted for being well-maintained and offering a good value, though some find the greens slow and the layout slightly confusing when playing 18 holes. Criticisms include restrictions on the driving range and limited practice opportunities for school teams.

I do not like giving negative reviews but this deserves one. Apparently if you do not get a membership here they overcharge you. Husband does 9 holes here occasionally after 5 and price has always been good Today he was charged double 😳. And the man was extremely rude He was very friendly when wanting us to be members though. No need to return here !

My father and I have golfed here since I was a teenager. I learned to golf here and still enjoy it as it is challenging enough to enjoy but easy enough for a quick round if you are tight on time. They always seem to have nice people running the cash register as well.

This golf course is a really good value for the money. It isn't super well maintained like other golf courses in the area. It is a 9 hole course but can be played as a 18 after the first 9 it can get a little confusing I do think this place is a great place to practice at only $18 for 9 holes with a cart.

It's a nice course. Nothing super fancy, but quiet and a nice way to chill out after a long day. Great course to work on making different kinds of shots.

although I havent played it, just know the history behind the course, it was named after legendary Wooster coach LC Boles, who helped found the course in 1939 and coached the football and golf teams.

A nice 9 hole course at the College of Wooster. Decent elevation changes. Decent price. Driving range & very limited drinks & snacks.

My son played on the 8th grade golf team and I thought they were jerks. Couldn't chip on the putting green , couldn't hit range balls and could only play holes 1 , 2 and 9. How are you suppose to practice... dumb , especially when the school was paying for this

Just left there, can't use a driver on the driving range. If you hit 3 or 5 wood long can't use them either.
