In summary

Kittyhawk Golf Club offers a variety of courses that cater to different skill levels, with many visitors appreciating the challenging layouts and scenic surroundings. The staff receives high marks for their friendliness and helpfulness, and the pricing is often seen as a good value, especially for a public course. However, some players express concerns about course maintenance, particularly regarding greens and fairways, and note occasional issues with slow pace of play and customer service.

3 courses of varying lengths, so there is something for everyone. Conditions are usually great during the season, but will deteriorate during winter months. I recommend calling ahead to check how busy they are, as many leagues play here beginning in April. Only downside is that they are a bit more expensive if you plan on using a cart. Would be great if they were more competitive with pricing.

We had the best experience here. Visiting from out of town and wanted to get a few rounds in. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had clubs & necessities needed. (Unfortunately, I don't remember the gentleman name behind the counter who helped us, but he was awesome!) Gary (starter/marshal) was wonderful! We enjoyed talking with him before we tee'd off and seeing him a few times on the course. Great public golf course with excellent customer service. If we find ourselves in Dayton again, we will be back!! Played the front 9 of Eagle and full 18 of Hawk... both courses provided thei…

I really enjoy this place. They have 3 course. One of which is a a par 3. Every time I go I see deer and all the water is beautiful

The falcon course is a very fun course, you can drive the ball 280 on par 4’s from the blue tees and still be 160-170 out so it makes it fun and challenging. The sand traps are huge which is also fun I really enjoyed the course layout. However, the greens right now are absolutely horrible because they just aerated and filled holes with sand so once you hit the green it’s like putting on gravel. Only reason I didn’t give it five stars

Played the Par 3 course and it was actually pretty nice. The greens looked well maintained. It allowed me to work on my horrible short game and still had a decent level of difficulty. And as a fairly new player it was nice that it wasn't as busy as the full courses.

This is a reasonably priced City course. Has lots of old style tabletop greens and lots of water. It is fun to play and easy to walk. Staff is friendly. Only bad thing is they have lots of twosomes. If you are in a foursome you always have these twosomes wanting to get past you.

Definitely a challenging course with the water hazards and the dog legs. Will definitely be be back. Morning staff could've been a bit friendlier as they seemed irritated that I had booked a 9hole tee time, but they seemed more irritated at management rather than me personally. Greens had just been aerated a little bit ago, and were very bouncy, but fun.

Played back 9 a couple times on the Hawk course. Challenging layout with water on each side of the fairway nearly every hole and plenty of large sand traps. Greens were in good condition. Played front on Eagle and enjoyed that...not nearly as much water but still a fair amount of hazards.

The cost is great...but you also get what you pay for. I play the Falcon. Mowing varies week to week; traps are usually hard as the ground and the cart gal hardly ever comes around. But it is a challenging Par 3 and like I said - you can't beat the price.

Played the Hawks course today. What a joke! Fairways are clover with very little grass! Out of all the courses I have played this year this by far is the worst one that I have played! $38 dollars when they should be charging maybe $20 dollars well over priced! Not to mention the pace of play was ridiculously slow!

For this time of year, the course (Eagle) looks pretty good. Greens are in good shape.

Had a great day playing the Kittyhawk executive course for the first time today. At the winter rate of $11 for 18 holes and only $16 as a walking senior during the regular season, I can't think of any better golf deal in the Dayton area.
