Walnut Grove Country Club

We chose not to renew our membership this year largely due to the behavior of the pool manager. Every year we’ve attended—whether as guests or paying members—her negativity has been a consistent issue. She regularly yells at the children, often over minor things, and does so loudly and publicly in front of parents and other guests. It’s not just occasional—it’s an all-day, ongoing presence that everyone at the pool sees and hears. What should be a fun, family-friendly environment ends up feeling tense and uncomfortable because of her harsh tone.

Attended event a couple of months ago. The service was somewhat lacking. Stopped by the speak to golf pro also months back and it was not a stellar impression. Figured they would want to impress me as a prospective member but I was wrong.

I played here as a gift from a niece. I enjoyed the course. Albeit we are seniors and played from the front tees. We found the course challenging but playable. The members we ran into were all friendly and helpful. No snobs here.

PLEASE make sure you do your homework before joining this club! very aged course needs alot of updating to course, members and staff! Members and staff are very rude and not welcoming at all just an aged club not willing to make updates to get younger members set-in old-school way not wanting to change with times. very unfortunate i was a member for 4 years i have family that are still members and has been for over 20 years and they agree it is also going down hill! please consider other options as this club is more a retirement home!

A Beautiful challenging golf course with wonderful members and friendly staff. I am upset & slightly shocked to read a negative review on here, as the general opinion I have encountered & experienced over the past year at this club is excellent customer service from a hard working team of professional employees. Come and see for yourself, you wont be disappointed. Jessica, Greg, Cait, Charlotte, Brian, Ben... You all do a fantastic job week in week out. keep up the good work!

I went to this club as a guest this evening with my family. I was looking forward to a great experience. I had the complete opposite experience. The lady that was our wait staff absolutely acted like we were a bother to her. Every drink was slammed on the table to the point I jumped along with other guests at my table. Our salads were slammed so hard that the dressings spilt onto the table. I had to find napkins myself to clean up her mess. We had to keep going to the bar to get refills for our drinks and condiments. Her approach everytime I tried to approach her was very abrasive on her end.…

Great course. A little more difficult than it first appears. Greens are smooth and clean, even though I was slow to adjust to them. #10 has a great view. Really enjoyed the course. Thanks.

We are not members, we were invited! Very nice club, clean, pleasant and the pool was so refreshing after an outside grad party! The service was excellent and the kids were so polite!

Love the course. Golfing member for the last couple years. Play whenever I want. Great staff and friendly membership.
