In summary

The course offers a relaxed and enjoyable golfing experience with a scenic 9-hole layout that appeals to players of varying skill levels. It's a nice little course with some good views and reasonable conditions. As noted by many reviewers, they need to take tee times. It's not that difficult! The current system of grouchy starters directing play is just not workable. If you're looking to play 18 holes, expect to wait close to an hour between nines. If you play, check out the mutant tree behind the 8th tee (see photo)!

Nice 9 hole course, very flat, no water hazards, lots of sand traps. Good flat greens, fairway ok. Dumb way to get a tee time...just show up and hope.

Really can’t ask for a better 9 hole course than this. It has a beautiful view of the Pell Bridge and the fairways and greens are very well kept. This course is in excellent condition. It is first come first serve so expect it to be busy depending on which day you go and arrive a bit earlier to get in line, but they have a starter usually to keep good pace.

Such a fun course! Must play if you are in the area. Only 9 holes, sure you can play it twice, but go and have fun on the 9 and then have lunch, drinks in their nice club house also. Easy to get to from Newport, Providence or South County. Very forgiving course, wide open, and flat greens, nice views of a working farm, and the Newport Bridge (see photos) towers. I can’t wait to go back some day. Wives shop in Newport, and boys play some golf and then meet up for dinner/drink in Newport…now that’s a day! Enjoy it! (Note we played on a grey misty day, and we still had a blast)

Course was in great condition, the starter who was very nice had golfers teeing off at a good pace making our wait after league start not bad at all. Really nice scenery on mostly every hole. Price was reasonable as was the restaurant which also had fast courteous service. Plan to return for another 9 holes this coming week.

Tough to give a score on this one. On one side the course is great nine hole track nice conditions some good views and flows pretty decently. The only reason for 3/5 is the fact they don’t take tee times. You want to play here on a weekend you have to show up and wait in line for close to two hours. First come first serve is a ridiculous system for weekend golf. Just tell me when I can play and I’ll be there simple as that

Finally played the course. Fun little course and a joy to play. A few comments- greens could be in a lot better shape (greens make any course), staff could use a crash course on customer service. Look forward to playing again.

Generally a fun little track although it can get pretty busy/slow and there are no tee times. The greens are in very rough shape right now with a temp on #3 and almost every other green struggling. Hopefully they don't lose anymore. Unfortunately I won't be back this year.

This course is in such great shape! The greens are extremely fast and undulating on certain holes. It's mostly wide open which provides for an easy second shot. The first hole is straightforward and only 290 yards depending upon your tee preference. From there the course shows its true beauty not only with its carefully manicured fairways but the majestic views. You can see both bridges as long as there isn't any fog which tends to occur in the morning. Great place to play a round of 9 or 18.

The starter prioritizes his buddy’s. They have leagues till 5pm then it’s a free for all to tee off. The order is completely based on the starter’s whim, no regard for order. Great course! Terrible management. I would suggest getting there early and insisting they check you in immediately after purchasing your round.

Delightful little track. First time here; i dont like playing without a tee time and they dont take any. Lush late season fairways, fast and true greens, nice tee boxes. The ninth green was closed with a temp green in the fairway, o was told by a local that happens a lot. Other than that its fantastic, worth the trip.
