In summary

Iroquois Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, affordable rates, and enjoyable layout, making it a popular choice for many golfers. The greens are generally well-maintained, though some visitors have noted issues with the tee boxes, fairways, and occasional rough patches. While the course offers good value, there are concerns about inconsistent maintenance and occasional overcrowding during peak times.

Iroquois is an amazing park with so much to offer and this public course exploits excellent terrain and offers some fun holes. Clubhouse staff are friendly and it's very easy to get a tee time. The course does have some turf issues with tee boxes and fairways but the greens are well maintained and offer a challenge. Overall I give 4 stars - excellent value ($20/round). If they fix the course maintenance stuff, it's an easy 5.

Played 2/28/26 and the course, relatively speaking, was in great condition. It’s a muni so obviously it’s not pristine but for what I paid I was very pleased. I’ll be coming back this year 👍

It's definitely a great course for what you pay. I played here on a weekend, and it wasn't too overly crowded. Loved it and would recommend. Had a great time here and will be back!

For a municipal course I was quite impressed with Iroquois. The fairways and greens were in pretty good shape and for the price it was just a great deal. Luckily I went on a dreary afternoon so it was no crowded at all but I can imagine this place gets packed on nice weather weekends.

I'll start of by saying i do NOT like to leave a bad review. However, this should be considered constructive criticism to course management and to the golfer a realistic idea of the course. The fairways have only tufts of grass to hit off of and the rest is bare. If you get a good shot off and it runs into the rough, good luck finding it, the rough is up to my shins, literally. The tee boxes are bare with some grass but not much. The greens have sod placed on them in so many places they look like a jigsaw puzzle, you may as well pick up at the green and take two. Dead trees are down in fairway…

The course was great, but the staff were rude jerks. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I am an avid a golfer and was in town in Louisville with my boyfriend, and I have to say this was the worst golf experience in my entire life. This course was absolutely horrendous. It had nothing to do with a few rain storms they had that’s understandable, however the grounds, fairways, were either patches of crab grass, mud dirt, long grass or hard ground. You couldn’t find your ball to save your life and yes, I hit a straight shot into the fairway, but it was hidden in crabgrass or patches of dirt, or patches of clover. For $40 per person this was absolutely a rip off. I was disgusted by th…

Great municipal course. Twilight rate is where it’s at as of 03/2023. If you walk $14 if you ride $33. It’s been raining on and off for the past 3 weeks and isn’t really too muddy. The best part of the course are it’s greens and friendly layout. Very few tee boxes are rough but you’re teeing it anyways. If you’re not used to walking it might be a challenge. A lot of hills. I’ve been playing with only irons and it’s a lot of fun. For the rate absolutely 👍🏼

Pretty fun layout. Not real challenging but tree lined so you could be in trouble if wild off the tee. Played on a wet Thursday morning by myself. Course was green. Greens were good but slow for what I’m used to. About what you’d expect from a muni. Looks like it gets a lot of play. Only negative was three guys would not let me play through as a single.

The crew and staff are great. They are really helpful in any way. We have never had a problem or been hassled in anyway. The course has been in good shape all year. The traps are a little rough in the winter but summer they are in good shape. The course is a tough layout but it makes you think about what shots you want to play. Hats 🎩 off to the staff. MD
