In summary

The Indiana University Golf Course is widely praised for its challenging layout, beautiful setting, and well-maintained fairways and greens. Many visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the impressive clubhouse and amenities. However, some golfers have noted issues with yardage markers and GPS devices, and a few have mentioned that certain areas of the course are still maturing or in need of maintenance. Despite these minor concerns, the course is considered a must-play for those seeking a demanding and scenic golfing experience.

This has got to be one of the most challenging courses I’ve played in Southern Indiana and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is an aesthetically pleasing course with all of the beautifully maintained fairways, rough and greens. A beautiful clubhouse and very welcoming staff. Very good price for the caliber of the course.

Nicest and hardest course I've played in Indiana. Love the zoysia fairways. Greens were true and fast GPS device would not work so bring a laser scope or use sprinkler heads for distance. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this course. A must play in Indiana.

Tough long course. It was in great shape for November. Very fast greens. Good rates. Very comfortable carts with GPS. We did have to keep the carts pretty much on the cart path.

An absolutely amazing course in the heart of the IU campus. Visited the course after a few days of rain, so the greens were not nearly as fast as I anticipated. The courses greatest defense is the heather. Be prepared for what will be a difficult find and nearly impossible lie to exit, if your ball leaves the fairways. If you are a double digit handicap, play forward tees and bring plenty of balls.

Challenging but fair. stay in the fairways and your golden, stray and you pay the price. Greens were aerated the day before and couldn't tell in the slightest. The maintenance is top notch. Beautiful fairways and scenic

Amazing gem of a course. Probably the most beautiful course I have ever played. The layout and landscaping make the place feel very natural like they just cut some fairways into a plot of land. Also a very difficult course with some far back tee boxes. Greens are hard and fast. Rough is very long and thick. Small errors become big ones out here. Lots of bunkers that look like a part of the landscape. Only 4 stars because with $95 green fee you don't get a range finder on your cart, and there are no yardage markers on the course itself so I guess they just assume you're rich enough to have a p…

Played with a group of 12 grads this weekend. Course is in very poor condition. Tee boxes and greens are is bad shape, sand is terrible overgrown, grab grass everywhere. Maintenance gets a 2/10 on this course. Fairways were great, but was expecting significantly more than an unkept course. All 12 were disappointed. Played Hickory Stick and Brickyard the following days and they were significant improvements.

Looked awesome. Stopped in the day after 7” of rain. Walk only for $40. Course looked immaculate.

I'm rating this future 4 or 5 star course as a 3 based upon play Wednesday October 6 2021 at 10 am tee. Me and my son-in-law had this course ready play on a fine autumn day. I'm a forward tee player playing this from the whites. The course layout over the rolling hills topography is spectacular. There are well maintained designed bunkered waste areas throughout the course and out of bounds are well marked. The clubhouse is new and comfortable. The cart paths are concrete and 40% complete. Apparently this course is a complete reconstruction first played little more than a year ago. The tee boxe…

What a spectacular golf course. The day I showed up the course was deluged by an inch of rain in an hour and it was unclear when and how it would open. Staff was great, kept communicating and eventually devised a plan to open the course to carts and made a "cart path only" plan on a course that doesn't have a lot of cart paths. I found the course to be fair but very challenging, the greens and fairways in exceptional shape, and the 150 or so bunkers to be tough and visually very intimidating. I do think following the guide for what tees to play from on the course's web site makes sense. The da…

This is very challenging golf course , longest tees playing 7600. The fairways have lot of slope and need a precise tee shot , the rough is thick . The green run fast , when my daughter played they were running around 12. Log elevation changes and undulations through the course. The clubhouse is nice and spacious with great people and food. Overall a really good golf course, which will challenge a good golfer
