In summary

Stone Crest Golf Community is appreciated for its scenic layout and affordability, offering three distinct nine-hole courses that provide variety and challenge. Many visitors commend the friendly staff and well-maintained greens, though some express concerns about inconsistent fairway conditions and occasional issues with course etiquette and management. Despite these criticisms, the course remains a popular choice for its value and enjoyable playing experience.

A really nice golf course and reasonably priced. Some of the holes are tricky, but it's fun. The tee boxes are non-existent, just a long stretch of grass.. haven't seen that before. The golf carts are souped up and surprisingly fast.. this was a little tricky for us to get used to. The pro shop is loaded with good deals and the bathrooms are clean. The food is pretty good, as well.

This is a beautiful course, I love playing here. There are no other courses in the area that compare to Stone Crest when considering the price.

DO NOT believe the bogus "Local Guide" review recently posted about this course. I got baited into it and have never saw a golf course in worse condition in my life. Played on 8/20/25 and here is what I experienced. Tee Boxes: LONG crab grass... doesn't look like they'd been mowed in at least a week. Some we're borderline just sand and a few pieces of grass. Fairways: The fairways didn't exist... Honestly you we're better hitting a drive into the rough because the fairways we're either super long crab grass or mud. Greens: The only remotely saving grace of the round as some looked okay but…

I absolutely love this course! It's my home course and I've been golfing here since I was a little kid. My dad used to take me here back in the day and I always loved it. Now that I've gotten older, I've just recently bought my first set of clubs and have really been getting back into golf. I just shot my personal best of a 48 last week on the East Course. Great courses, good condition, and always a great time at Stone Crest. Also, $10 for a big bucket of balls for the driving range is a great deal to me! I will definitely keep playing here and hopefully one day, I'll take my son here to play…

The grass on either side of the fairways needs mowed better as well as around the greens. I lost some balls right next to the fairways. Nice staff and great carts and clubhouse.

The conditions of this golf course are terrible. My perspective might be a little jaded, I am a member of a gated country club in Florida. I am not used to playing golf where fairway grass is high enough on some holes that it was like hitting from the rough of most any other course I've ever played. And if you get into the rough, it is an easter egg hunt to find it!! The greens look great but they are extremely slow. Top all of this off with the fact that club does not belong to the Indiana Golf Association. That means you can't post a score in the GHIN system. The layout of the course is inte…

Went to play 18 holes and was rudely interrupted by high school kids for the last 7 holes. They would constantly yell during our backswings, cuss us out while putting, driving, etc, and would keep their car in reverse before, during, and after our swing, even when we told them to stop (when the carts are in reverse, the carts make a loud continuous beeping noise). This was done throughout multiple holes even when we let them pass through. They even took the t boxes out ahead of us, so we had no idea where to t off. We were tempted to contact the pro shop towards the end but given that it was b…

Absolutely love this course! 3 different sets of nine holes with great fairways and greens. For the price you can’t beat it in the area. Employees are always nice and accommodating.

Poor golf etiquette management, fairways look and feel like they were cut by a Home Depot push mower, overpriced, and pro shop is run by maybe one person who is always agitated. Had issues with teens swearing, yelling, and blasting the reverse horn via the golf cart during our all aspects of our game and blamed the issue on us. Will never return and don't recommend.

Took my daughter out for an evening round. After the round an employee walked up to me and said "Don't bring her back here in this heat". I stated that it sounded like he is questioning my abilities as a Father. You can imagine how the conversation went from here. My daughter is 8 months old, stays in her car seat the entire time. On hotter days we keep a fan directly on her at all times. She laughs at every swing and enjoys being out on the course. We have cleared this activity with our pediatrician, and he even recommended the fresh air. She has been with me on courses in Florida, Mexico, pl…
