In summary

Pine Woods Golf Course is praised for its beautiful setting, friendly staff, and enjoyable layout that offers a fun and challenging experience, particularly for beginners and families. The course is noted for its affordability and relaxed atmosphere, with many appreciating the unique layout and the opportunity to play without feeling rushed. However, some visitors have pointed out areas for improvement, such as the condition of certain holes, unclear navigation, and the lack of amenities like a driving range or clubhouse.

Beautiful Course. I had a fun time. I think hole #3 and #4 are not in good condition at all and needs work as the hillsides erode away and needs more grass. The greens need work, but it was a lot of fun. This course was just beautiful.

I live close to this course! It's a very interesting venue. I've never actually played on the greens but I have many friends who have. It's down to earth atmosphere and its at home appeal sets this course apart from all others around. I was enjoyably, in my own world while touring on the cart and watching the guys play on a beautiful Saturday Afternoon!

This course is great for the beginner however the cost is a little high and layout needs a lot of work. I gave the course 3 stars only because the staff are very friendly and that means a lot these days.

Decent course for what it is. They could probably do a better job of properly identifying where you are supposed to be going. There were multiple holes that I kinda had to guess where I was supposed to go. The entire course is cut to the same length so theres no real fairways. Course was in decent shape tho. Course is really short. Only one par 5 and its essentially just a somewhat long par 4.

Had a great time! It's a nice little course that's not crowded. If you don't like feeling rushed then this is the course for you! I will definitely play here again!

This is a 9 hole well maintained course that climbs up then back down a ridge. Most holes are par 4 (I think one or 2 are 3 par and 1 is 5 par). $26 for 2 ppl and a cart is a great deal I thought. You won't find a bar or clubhouse, so pack your own cooler.

I'm headed down on a two hour trip just to play this course. It's typically a simple country course condition wise but the layout is what makes me keep coming back. I played at IU and have played St Andrews, Carnoustie and both Murifields and many amazing courses all over the country and I still get excited to play Pine Woods. I'd give it 5 stars but it's just not a five star course, but you still need to pack a cooler and bring some buddies and make a few laps around her.

Nice public coures with a nice used shop, with good deals. Greens are way to slow not cut daily, lots of ruff areas, tee boxes in bad shape, same price as rolling meadows but way worse condition, can't walk on weekends even when no one is there, no driving range, or back 9, would go to rolling meadows a much nicer course for the same price.
