In summary

Indian Canyon Golf Course is highly praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained greens, and challenging layout that takes advantage of the hilly terrain, offering stunning views of Spokane. The course is noted for its historic charm and excellent facilities, including a driving range and practice areas. However, some visitors have experienced slow pace of play and issues with staff attitude, particularly in the restaurant, which have detracted from their overall experience.

Great course in the hills just outside Spokane, WA. Elevation changes abound, and there is usually significant slope not only on the greens but also on the fairways as well. Greens are well maintained, smooth, and virtually flawless. I thought this course was in great shape. Pro-shop has what it needs, plenty of carts, and putting green near clubhouse. There was also a driving range just across the parking-lot. Nice course, I would definitely play it again.

Great municipal course. Loved the layout and how it rolls with the landscape. Tee boxes were ok, fairways were nice, and rough was just long enough to add awareness. Greens were ok with a lot of elevation change. Loved the views and would recommend. Food was good and hot.

The course has very nice views. The greens, fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. The pace of play was very good. Probably the best city course I ever played.

Great us kids tournament course today. Beautiful course very hilly so if your not taking a cart you are going to get your steps in for sure…. Big driving range kids like the gongs as targets to hit. Greens have a pretty good slope on them tricky for putting. Saw a moose and a raccoon 🦝. Huge parking lot if you need to bring your Rv

I found Indian Canyon as a search result for nearby golf courses while leaving the Spokane airport. All I wanted to do was hit some golf balls and see if I could straighten out my slice. It is a beautiful golf course. I never got to play it, but I did use the practice facility, which was very nice. The Professional or golf pros in the pro shop were very nice and quite helpful. The golf course is owned and operated by the city of Spokane and the buildings on site are very interesting clad with volcanic rock and sort of a craftsman style building. The view off of the back deck (see attached ph…

I had an amazing day golfing at Indian Canyon — the course was in fantastic shape and the guys in the pro shop were excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant completely ruined the experience. The lady checking us out was unbelievably rude. When I politely asked for a cup of ice, she scoffed, slammed the cup around, and slung ice everywhere like it was a huge burden. She had a sunflower tattoo on her left shoulder, faded blonde/grey hair, and was heavier set — and she gave us the absolute worst service I have ever had anywhere. She stomped her feet, threw buckets of ice and cups around, and ma…

Such a great location. Historic, old school (one of Bing Crosby’s favorites). Great views of Spokane, challenging terrain makes for fun golf and shaping shots through the tree lined fairways. 10th hole: great views! Stopped by after flying in from Arizona. Close to the airport. Had some fries on the deck but they were on the over done side.

Beautiful course and properly maintained. Really cool course design and definitely a challenge. Would absolutely recommend anyone wanting to play at a nice golf course.

Immaculate greens, gorgeous views and each hole feels like a private course due to the design. It’s challenging and worth the visit!

Course is in good shape and a decent layout, but it was painfully slow out there. I play roughly 70 rounds a year and never in my life have I sat on a tee box with 3 other groups, and this happened 3 different times in the round...crazy. We probably spent as much time waiting on tee boxes as we did actually golfing on the day. We were so backed up on a hole, we were stuck between trying to clear the green we just finished and stay back from the next tee box, unfortunately we didn't find a good spot as one of the groups ahead of us shanked a drive off a tree and hit my wife in the head! Saw the…

One of the best courses in Spokane! But today, greens where literally covered in manure! Was not given any warning, no discount and all around a horrible experience! Except better from this prime course....please do better!

Beautiful course, great views, and was extremely well maintained. Now, if I could get the idiot maintenance team off the green when I'm teeing off on a par 3, it would have been perfect. Great experience overall and one of my favorite courses in the area.
