In summary

Hangman Valley Golf Course, now known as Latah Creek, is praised for its beautiful and well-maintained course, offering a unique driving range where balls are hit into water, and a layout that provides a fun yet challenging experience for all skill levels. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing the overall golfing experience. However, some visitors have reported issues with slow pace of play, especially during busy times like holiday weekends, and occasional dissatisfaction with certain staff interactions.

Nice course, but pace of play was really bad on Labor Day weekend. Had a three hour front nine. Had to quit at nine because there were three groups waiting at the tenth tee and I couldn't do another three hour nine. I originally gave them 3 stars because I was upset about the slow round. They did give me a rain check for the back nine. After I cooled off and came back to cash in my rain check the next weekend they went the extra mile and won me over. I suppose a slow round happens at any course now and then, probably especially on holiday weekends when a lot of occasional golfers make plans t…

Such a unique and beautiful range with an immaculate chipping and putting practice area! We also enjoyed scooping our own balls and mounding them up in the bucket. I hope to come back to play 9 or 18 holes.

Range into the pond is nice, reminded me of Coeur d'Alene resort where you hit them into the lake. First thing I noticed about Latah Creek is how clean it is. Not a piece of garbage anywhere, spotless around the clubhouse and range. Very well maintained putting and chipping areas; the course was the same on every hole. Not overly difficult, yet fairly challenging. Some elevation changes and sloping fairways, but nothing outlandish. Clean, tight greens. Overall an excellent course, and I would definitely play here again.

These guys take really nice care of their course. Some holes on this course are pretty easy, but don't get too cocky because there are a few tough ones as well. This course is a tough one to walk with all of the elevation changes, so I recommend a cart.

I played this course while passing through and sm so happy I did! I have no complaints about it. The staff were all great, the gals at the grill rocked, my breakfast burrito was great, and the course was spectacular! The sent me out with two young men who were much better than me, but they were still fun and didn't mind waiting for me once in a while. It's a middle of the road layout that anyone can enjoy. Oh, and the driving range is a lake! I recommend this course to anyone and everyone!

Super unique driving range you hit the balls into water. I visited a lot of golf courses and never seen that. Spent Father's Day there with my family and we loved it. After hitting a basket of balls we has lunch in the clubhouse and enjoyed our visit very much. This golf course very conveniently close to the South Hill. 100% recommend checking it out.

This is a beautiful course, however I would never golf there again after how rudely we were treated by the tall staff member with a beard! I golf all over this country mostly at TPC courses and have never been treated so rudely. Whoever runs this golf course should go in and clean house with some of the staff, because this course has the potential of being a truely remarkable golf experience but the way you treat your paying customers is a shame!

Very pretty course. Although, the longest round I’ve ever played. At every tee box, there was at least two groups waiting, sometimes three. After we finished the front nine it had been three hours. There ended up being four groups waiting on hole 10. The Marshall was very kind, letting us know they overbooked. But the clubhouse guys were very rude and unaccommodating. We simply asked to be refunded so we were only charged for nine holes. They attempted to make it seem like this is normal, and should be expected on a holiday weekend. For a professional golf course, I would expect them to unders…

Our non-profit recently hosted our charity scramble at Latah Creek and had a great experience. All staff was top notch to deal with. The course is a fun and unique layout. Highly recommend!

Easily the most challenging (bunker guarded greens), fun (elevated tee shots), and well-maintained of the County/City courses of Spokane. Pro-Shop staff are helpful, Food and Beverage staff are welcoming and friendly. I happily golf 20+ rounds per year at this course. You'll use every club in your bag.
