In summary

Hickory Sticks Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, picturesque setting with rolling hills, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice among golfers in the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati area. Many appreciate the challenging yet enjoyable layout with elevation changes and well-kept greens. Some visitors have noted issues with narrow access roads, occasional miscommunication regarding tee times, and a lack of yardage markers, but these concerns are generally outweighed by the positive experiences reported by most players.

I have played golf here several times, with friends, going on two years and have never had a bad experience. ( Did lose a club cover today lol) This course is well groomed, and not too difficult depending on age and handicap. The staff are always friendly and courteous, including the groundskeepers. Keep up the outstanding work! Your hard work and dedication is recognized!

Great course with picturesque views of the rolling hills of Kentucky. There are a bunch of really cool tee shots that drop about 100 yards with views for miles. The staff was helpful and friendly as was everyone I came across in the course. Fairways and greens are in great shape. It's ALWAYS nice when the only ball marks I repair on the greens are the ones I make. 10/10 can not wait to play it again.

The course is beautiful, and the club house staff are great. However, we were golfing on a Sunday and they were mowing grass. Already strange to be mowing the fairways in the middle of the busiest golf day, but one of the mowers cussed our group and a group behind us out! Screaming cuss words at us for playing on a course we paid for at our scheduled time, perfect way to ensure that our golf outing will never return.

My favorite public course in the Cincinnati/NKY area. Always an absolute joy to play here. It’s in great condition. Was able to do 18 holes in 2hr 30min as a solo on a Sunday morning.

The Potts group had a wonderful time today at your golf course. The course was in great condition. Easy to access Hickory Sticks. This was our first time playing this course and we will be returning to play again. The employees were all very polite and professional.

It was my first time playing the course (with my Son & a friend). The course was in very good condition-both fairways & fast greens. The course is somewhat hilly, but that didn't matter to me-it was fun playing. Pace of play was great - finished front 9 in 2 hrs 15 mins & the round in 4 1/2 hrs. What more could you ask for? Getting there, the roads are somewhat narrow-take care- but still a good day of golf !!

Course is laid out nicely, with some elevated holes that provide some nice views. Only giving 4 stars because of the location, as you have to drive down a couple very narrow 1 lane roads for a long period of time to get here.

Such a great course. Been playing here with my dad in a league for 6 years and it’s always in great shape. Would recommend to new golfers and experienced.

Beautiful course! Really stood out to us. A nice challenge for players new to the game but not overwhelming. Had to play the back 9 twice, really wanted to play the whole course, that should have been disclosed at time of reservation but didn't kill my day, we will go back...

Nice course. Don't use online booking. Charges your card full price at booking instead of allowing you to pay at the course.nWe had someone back out on us last minute. Round ended up costing me $120.

Nice course in the rolling hills of Northern Kentucky. Many holes with elevation changes and forced carries over OB or ponds, but the course itself is fun and surprisingly playable. I was thankfully paired up with another single who game me tips as we played and shot 78 from the back tees. Probably wouldn't have without some local knowledge and since it was my first time playing there. Greens were in the best shape I saw on any course in Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area - rolling great and virtually no ball marks.

Pretty disappointed in my two experiences here. My first tee time, the foursome behind us kept yelling and heckling us to speed it up. They even called the clubhouse on us. They came out and saw we were playing golf and not being unreasonable slow. The gentlemen running the club house was very kind and gave us a rain check for having a poor experience. Fast forward to today. I wanted to use my rain check so I called. I booked a tee time for 9holes with the lady on the phone. I had a ride along so I expected to pay a small fee but after driving 35 minutes to hickory sticks the young man behind…
