To get here, you have to travel through the scenic back roads of Old Town Batavia, over the river and through the woods. Next thing you know, you arrive to see openness surrounded by mini mountains of woods. Here lies Elks Run designed by Greg Norman. Exquisite layout. A little on the tight side, but for it being a championship course that's to be expected. The views, outstanding. Each and every single hole was excitingly challenging. I do recommend this course for anyone more advanced in the game. Hole 8 will get your rocks off for sure.

For a public golf courses this place is pretty sweet, great layout!!! There's room on most holes off the tee but it really comes down to pin placements and approach shots.... Played mid May and the whole course was in good shape, bunkers were premo also!! Some good elevation changes so you'll want to pay attention when judging yardages, the creek that runs throughout the course lined both sides with the rock is a nice touch!! Yes I strongly suggest playing here and I can't wait to come back

Wonderful course. We live 3 hrs away and will make the drive to play again for sure. It is in great condition even after a hard rain the night before. Challenging but fair. Pricey but well worth it. Everyone was so very nice. This is course is a must.

Beautiful course with scenic views thanks to elevation changes, abundant water, and lots of trees. The clubhouse is also pleasant - friendly staff, great beer selection, nice TVs, good bathrooms, plenty of space. Unfortunately, our experience could have been better - we weren’t informed of the 15 minute detour due to construction, and the greens were being aerated during play on the last nice Sunday of the year. I get that it’s tough to predict weather and things need to be done for the sake of the course but still. The course needs some work on the tee-boxes, fairways, and greens - but it’s t…

This is one of the most beautiful courses in the Greater Cincinnati area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The course is maintained in excellent condition. I think you will enjoy your time on Elks Run.

Overall decent course but like most other reviews have said - the pace of play was awful (5-hour round), waiting on every tee box for 5-10 minutes, and no one repairs ball marks on the greens. Great staff in pro shop and clubhouse; decent food and great selection at turn. The redneck riviera of Cincinnati area golf.

One of my favorite courses around Clermont County, but when I call in on the first decent weekend to check course conditions.. I'm routed to some call center that has no idea what the course conditions look like and had to park me to call the Pro Shop to confirm course conditions? She couldn't even make contact and recommended I call back in 10-15 minutes to "try again". Really?

Beautiful lush open fairways and just challenging enough to be fun to play but like any public course pace of play is horrid. There were no rangers in sight but our cart kept blinking some crazy sign that we were too slow!!!! I mean, we can’t hit into the folks ahead of us right? Right?

Playing here tomorrow. For all those complaining about ball marks. Fix 5 on every green, properly, problem solved. Best public course layout in Cincinnati and the toughest greens in Cincinnati, Private or public. A Greg Norman design open to the public is very rare and unique. Worth the time to play!

Pretty course located in Batavia, OH. Golf cart we had ran extremely slow and poorly like it wasn’t charged enough. It was almost laughable. I could walk faster than the cart at some points. It did have GPS which was nice. Person who helped tee off was pushy about timing and told us to pick up pace couple times. Drinks on the course were nice. Went inside to get lunch after 9th hole and the kitchens grill closed at 2:30PM on a Sunday..? So I settled for a PB&J. Overall pretty course. Suggestion would be to keep kitchen grill open later for golfers on weekends and it would have gotten higher…

Tee boxes in a lot of need of TLC. Greens have bad spots but overall are rolling ok. Fairways also in some rough shape. For the price I don’t think it is worth playing here. We played for $50 but thought the course probably plays like $25-30. Interesting layout, challenging, just wish the conditions were better

Played this course 2 weeks in a row . Overall thoughts are positive . Tee to greens are in fine shape especially the fairways. Some tee boxes are chewed up . Why I don't know they were par 4s ..Greens in good shape . But players not repairing ball marks a big problem. Bunkers on some holes in need of repair. Clubhouse is friendly and after round option good . Play pace acceptable . Starter should remind each group to stay on a 4 hour pace . Plus replace divots and repair ball marks .
