In summary

Cedar Trace Golf Course is appreciated for its scenic layout, featuring a mix of challenging and easy holes with beautiful water and wooded areas. Many visitors find it to be a good value and commend the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. However, some players have noted issues with course maintenance, including greens and fairways, as well as concerns about slow pace of play and management of tee times.

Wonderful and well maintained course. Challenging front 9, the 8th hole is surrounded by beautiful water. Hilly in places, flat in others. Lots of nice woods and creeks. Very relaxing and I will definitely come again!

Hidden gem for the money and ease of getting a tee time. A little off the beaten path, and not a perfect course. But far better than a few that are at the same price point in the area. Laid back atmosphere, fun course, decently take care of minus just a couple holes. We play a couple times a year every year.

This was by far the worst golf course I have played in the Cincinnati area. I would estimate that around 50-60% of the greens were in the shape seen in the pictures below. Weeds all over the place. By around hole 13 I just wanted to be done playing and leave. What a complete disaster of a golf course.

The layout of the course is nice, good mix of challenging and easy holes. My rating is directed toward management. I have finally hit my point of "I won't be back anytime soon." In the 3 years or so of coming back to this course here and there I have seen a ranger out and about enforcing pace of play maybe 3 times...in 3 years. Slow pace is a very sad, yet very common issue here. The amount of times we have had groups of upwards of 8 people playing together, people backing the course up to the point of 3 groups sitting on tee boxes together for 11 holes of the course is mind blowing. There NEE…

Worst golf experience I’ve ever had. They refused to give us carts because we were not “16,” even though we’re 15 and a half and literally drove to the course. So we had to walk 18 holes on a course full of hills and rough terrain. We ended up tripping and cutting up our knees just trying to get around. To make it worse, we paid $54 to WALK, which is ridiculous. Because we had to walk, there were four groups stacked up behind us at every tee box, constantly waiting on us, and people were asking to play through all round long. We couldn’t even enjoy the round because we were nervous the whole…

Easily one of my new favorites, everything is perfect just keep that course clean and up kept and it’s one of the best scenic courses

Love this track. Hills, doglegs, down hill par 3's and some water. Doesn't have sand traps, but many courses have also eliminated these due to the high cost to maintain. Good value, nice place.

Much better than I had anticipated. A great value overall. 8/10 for greens and tee boxes, 7/10 for fairways, and 5/10 for cart paths. With that being said, there were improvements being made to the cart paths while I was there.

After reading reviews, we were worried, but the course was good. Some bad spots on greens but you can tell they are working on issues. No sand in bunkers. But beautiful course and will play again. Not playing it before cause some questions on where to hit and distances but had a great time.

Played for the first time yesterday, and had a great time, I loved the layout of the course, it’s much more laid back type feel than the other courses I’ve played since moving to Cincinnati. The fairways were well kept, and overall had a great experience. Greens had some brown spots which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 which doesn’t really matter to me much but might to a picky golfer. After reading some of the reviews I was expecting a horrendous golf course but it ended up being one of my favorites.

In my opinion, this is the best golf course in the area. It has several elevation type holes, huge valleys, very hilly, very well laid out and very well maintained! Staff is Top Shelf! The owner is usually present and open. Everyone there is very nice. Very nice facility when making the turn, AC, food, drinks, golf on the tube, shade, The hotdogs and cheeseburgers are awesome. A great golfing experience. It’s hard to just play 18.
