In summary

Eagles Nest Golf Course is appreciated by some for its friendly staff and being a beginner-friendly course, especially at the start of the season when conditions are better. However, many visitors express dissatisfaction with the course's maintenance, citing issues such as overgrown fairways, poor drainage, and indistinguishable fairways and rough. There are also concerns about the course's overall upkeep and the management of pace of play.

I brought my grandson here to the driving range. It was his first introduction to the game. The facility is a bit dated but everything was functional. The grass tee area was a bit tall but still workable and manageable. The also have mat tees. We used those fro driving practice. They have a practice putting green and a green to practice pitching, chipping and bunker shots. I decided to play 9 holes here later that afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the greens, tees, and fairways. The rough is fairly thick. It’s difficult to locate your ball in the rough. The course is…

This course is representative of its (I assume) owner. I played 9 holes here a few weeks ago, and while it was bad, it wasn’t this bad. That time, I had a pleasant interaction with the yellow-toothed man that I assume owns this landfill. So when a friend came into town from three hours away, I decided to book us a tee time here last Sunday. Now, onto the reason I will never be back. We had a 7:40 AM tee time for a twosome—the earliest available that day. When we arrived, I could tell the owner was already in a bad mood. He told us it was cart path only and apologized for the course conditio…

First the good the greens are in decent shape The cart girl was sweet and checked on us multiple times the club pro there is a really personable guy and enjoyed talking to him. Now the rest. This goat track is a mockery to golf. The fairways are made up of dandelions in the spring and crabgrass in the fall. If you have never lost a ball in the fairway before you have not been to the eagle nest. If it rains the night before wear hunting boats as drainage is not a thing here. The sand traps are close to kitty litter and the pricing at $47 is inline with other courses within a 20 mile radius that…

Mayflies everywhere, cart died on hole 4 and overall terrible course. Fairway and rough are the same, standing water on sides of path. No irrigation. Onsite crew only seem to want leagues or regulars. Got upset at us for not bringing back the cart that died… what should we have done pushed it?

Eagles nest is a super important high-school golf course, The workers are all very nice and if the place had irrigation it would probably be an awesome course. Its really beginner friendly and if you go at the beginning of the season then its usually in pretty good condition- towards the end of the season you'll want to play lift, clean and place since the grass is patchy but other than that it is in pretty good shape

1st round out since Corona, had a blast with the nice weather, the course was ok, we had to stay on the cart path but that's ok. Just out to enjoy the day and a round of golf.

What this course charges for indistinguishable fairways and rough(Doesn't look sprayed at all). Tee boxes with 20% bent grass 80% weeds, and greens with huge burn spots is crazy. Meanwhile can pay the same and even less at ANY other course around and get a much better course to play. Avoid

We (group of 4) booked a 3:50 tee time on a Saturday 44$ p/p. On hole fifteen we were approached by a staff member telling us that we had to finish our hole up because carts must be returned by 7:30 and it was 7:40. The expectation that you complete a round of 18 in under 4 hours is challenging. Not to mention with a group of 4 and waiting on slower players ahead pausing pace of play. No one had informed any of us during the multiple different occasions we entered the club house. It is also not posted anywhere on the course and there is a rules board next to hole 1. It is an expensive course f…

Honestly not even the slightest bit great. We played on Friday and while it did rain a few days before, the grass was not sopping wet. The entire course was nothing but dandelions. Fairways were AWFUL. It was pasture grass. Because of the tall grass, all of the weeds, and not being mowed in weeks, lost MULTIPLE balls IN PLAY. Spent more time looking them actually playing Paying 48$ for a round for that only opinion is not acceptable.

Played there today. Pros: very few golfers Cons: fairways are full of white clovers, high grass (much like the rough at ost cources). Most greens are 25-30% bare. T boxes are horrible. No hot food ( dogs, burgers or metts). No water at all to drink at any hole. 10% of holes had ball washers. Obvious that no money is being put into upkeep. Cost $38, should charge for cart only at this place

One star for the EXTREMELY friendly staff, the course however is beyond hideous. Undefined fairways, just a weedy mess everywhere, I don't think the grass had been cut in days. Do not recommend.

Wife and I went for 9, we left after 6. The greens were beat up, with large dead patches and tons of divots. The "fairways" were non existent. Only mowed sections were the tee boxes and greens, both torn up terribly. Genuinely feel like it wasnt worth the money, and probably should have just asked for a refund after the first hole.
