In summary

Legendary Run Golf Course is praised for its challenging and unique layout, with a distinct separation between the open front nine and the wooded back nine, as well as its well-maintained greens and friendly staff. However, many visitors express frustration with the slow pace of play and occasional management issues, such as crowded tee times and inadequate course marshaling. Some also mention concerns about the condition of certain facilities and tee boxes.

Great time! 18 holes is like playing two different courses. The front 9 is a little more open from the tees. The back 9 is more tight thru the trees and traps.

Very challenging and unique courses, all designed with the natural hills and wild forests. Almost all courses are par 4 or 5. If you play all 18 holes, it'll take you 5 hours.

We played this sunday. We didnt play wholes 5,16,17,18 and it still took us 4 hours and 54 mins. The group infront of us played with 5 people and got upset with us when our group said something. I do not recommend playing here the course is great. But the management crams to many people into. I understand they need to make money but they should be more tentative towards the flow of people l. Also it wouldn't hurt if they coached people on the proper educate of golf manners.

PROS: Customer Service was excellent The course was in great shape and the greens were immaculate It is one of my favorite courses to play every year This is a course i would HEARTILY recommend for everyone to come out and enjoy! Some of the holes are challenging and just fun to play CONS: Our group noticed that the tee boxes were a little beat up and could use some care I think it would be helpful to have a Ranger going around often cause there was a foursome ahead of us, with four carts and were VERY SLOW. At one time we have 4 groups waiting on a par-4. should never happen....

Had a great time golfing and the course was in pretty good shape-some unfixed divots and ball marks but that’s par for any course. We played nine holes and it took us almost 2:45 so that was a drag. Staff was friendly and courteous. Would definitely recommend playing here if you aren’t in a hurry.

So i want to be clear the actual golf course itself is better than a 3. Its more like a 4. Now for what to expect A nice course with a challenging layout. Front 9 is links style and very open. Back 9 is more American woods style. Greens roll true with some gnarly breaks. Some of the tee boxes were a little beat but mostly in good condition. Bunkers play nice and are better sand than most but I wouldn't call it fluffy sand. None of the holes really jumped out as scenic or signature worthy. The problems: Pace of play. I only got in 14 holes in 4 hours and had to leave with no break to the m…

Front nine in nice shape, back nine questionable. Unfortunately, after four holes the GPS system showed us as 24 min behind. Had some very slow groups in front of us. I think the layout of the course causes some of this. Unfortunate for a decent club at a good price, but 5+ hours with an early morning tee time just isn’t for me

Customer service is great! The course truly feels exclusive like you’re at a country club. Modern technology with the carts is a nice feature. You can see exactly how far away you are from the pin and can connect with Bluetooth. Nice driving range and the greens are always well maintained. Truly a hidden golf course gem in the Cincinnati/NKY area.

I have always considered this a higher end course. It has character, is fun to play and always in good shape. I didn't mind paying the extra money to play because it was worth it. I played there last week. I paid the $64 on a Thursday morning. . I wasn't happy about it, but l know there is some value there. Well, l have never seen this course in that bad of shape. The teeboxes were chewed up and bare. There was crabgrass in the fringes of the beat up greens. There was a lack of grass in most fairways. Yet, it was still $64. Golfers beware. Go to Blue Ash or Elks Run. Those courses are both les…

This course will absolutely not be getting a return from me. Starting off with the staff, a smile if not enough when your words and actions do not match up. My group of golfers called a day ahead to reserve a spot, ensuring carts were available and riders were allowed, of which we were told yes. After driving an hour to this location, AFTER paying for my round, rider and cart, and AFTER arriving at First Tee, I was told I am unable to golf because I was unable to have a cart and rider. Even after I already paid. This right here is the whole reason one would call ahead and/or check the website,…

Tee times are a little jammed together And Bit expensive but definitely one of the nicer public courses in the tri state area! Open layout but very difficult course, Great speeds on green probably rolling at a 8-10 depending on the day. Great up keep to the course. Great staff . Nice club house and bar. Good overall course ,wish pace was a bit faster ab 4h 45m round when u play but that’s pretty much every track since Covid

Pace of play is unacceptable especially on the front 9. Played 7/20 with a 3PM tee time. Front nine took 3 hours and 15 minutes and back nine took 2 hours 15 (including the 19th hole) for a 5 hour and 30 minute round. Greens were also covered in unfixed ball marks. I’ve played here several times and today will likely be my last after today’s front 9. I think the back nine was played to pace as several people quit after the unacceptably long front nine. My recommendation is to raise the price of the PEP (or eliminate completely) and to put more time between tee times. Something has to change.
