In summary

Hartmanns Deep Valley Golf Club is appreciated for its challenging layout, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice for local players. Many enjoy the scenic setting and the variety between the front and back nine, though some find the course maintenance lacking, particularly with fairways, sand traps, and water hazards. While the restaurant receives positive remarks for its service and atmosphere, there are concerns about outdated menu information and inconsistent course conditions.

I give hartmanns a 5 star not because it is the best golf course out there but relative to the price you pay, it is a 5 star in my view. My son and I had a nice time at Hartmann’s front nine. The course was easy to follow and conditions were fairly nice and what you would expect for the very reasonable price you pay. The early bird rate on the weekdays was a nice plus too. Don’t expect much from the conditions of the sand traps but tee boxes, fairways and greens were great. Would highly recommend a visit to hartmanns for any local players in the area

This course is relatively nice. Unfortunately, the holes are kind of repetitive and the fairways were too deep. I would play this course again but I wouldn't be scrambling to play this course again. The course needs a fair bit better maintenance on greens. It's a good course for first time players but don't expect anything exceptional. Update: I just recently replayed the course and the greens, roughs, and fairways were definitely in better shape. However, algae was present in the water hazards to crazy levels. It definitely looks like a lack of maintenance in certain aspects of the course is…

Looked online at menu to decide my dining take out order. Called and ordered Zucchini fries, oh we don't have that any more, we have the planks now, oh, ok. Next I wanted the Cranberry pecan salad with chicken. Oh, we don't have that anymore. They did have my order ready when I got there, but it was $10 more expensive than I expected Sad that the menu available was so grossly inaccurate. Food was good, but still disappointed.

A couple things about this course: - Don’t let your friends tell you this course is easy. It’s narrow and the water on the back nine is easy to drive into. It will take your golf balls. - On a nice evening it has a rather scenic setting. - It’s a enjoyable local course at the right price. I would be willing to pay more to help the course. It’s location is prime for the growth of the area to be really popular. - Greens are well taken care of. Short, smooth with good speed. Greens have some slope that offers challenge on longer puts. - Course generally has proper cuts around greens and fairways…

Nice venue for golf. Tough back 9 with lots of water traps. Could use some maintenance on the fairways but overall a good place to get some practice in.

This place is horrible. Fairways of doom and despair, the so called “owner” threatened to “kick my ass” after I accidentally drifted a golf cart, he could have just said to stop. Instead he used profanity and threatened me and my friends just trying to have a good time, there was no damage done to the carts and nobody was put in harms way whatsoever. It felt like the “owner” didn’t even want us to play on “his” course or better yet have fun. We ended up getting kicked out due to break failure of one of the carts and the “owner”, stalking us from afar waiting for his moment to strike saw our ca…

Fun, challenging course. Narrow but mountainous fairways, lined with trees, make hitting good shots difficult. A few bunkers and almost no water hazards. Pin location can make for challenging putts. Good course to play.

Course is in horrible shape. Almost no grass in the fairways. Bunkers look like the surface of Mars and the greens are almost unplayable. This summer has been bad for every course on the area but this was by far the absolute worst conditions I’ve ever played. If it weren’t for it being the first time I ever played there, I would’ve picked up my ball and walked off after the first few holes. It’s my understanding that they sold the property, so maybe the course management team just said to hell with it and don’t care anymore. The woman in the proshop was about as pleasant as a trip to the denti…

This place is ok. The fairways aren't really fairways and I don't think this course is actually registered with the WPGA or the USGA. It's advertised as a golf course, but I don't think it officially is one.

Excellent course. Challanging but fair. Well run and family owned. Excellent resaurant. Front 9 and back 9 offer a different look and feel. The first course my father took me to play, I took my son and we took my grandsons. All four generations love(d) the course.

Come here if you want a course where no one is playing behind you. The course is empty though because it’s a wreck. It isn’t well maintained at all. It’s cheap to play here because they obviously don’t care about it.
