Gloucester Country Club

Played here last Fall in the late afternoon with a buddy of mine who's a Member. Really cool place right on a lake, fun but challenging layout without being too long of a course. Course was in great condition but for a couple of spots, I played a few other private courses in the area over the summer and glocester was in the best shape, kudos to the greenskeeper. Staff was very friendly and attentive, the golf pro drove out at one point to make sure everything was good. If I lived in the area i'd consider joining, definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a home club.

Course is challenging and greens are small and run pretty good speed wise they have a nice little layout, I was even thinking of joining my buddy by getting a membership but man did that course go down hill over the summer, the green on hole #2 is atrocious dead spots everywhere and the ball bounces the entire way. Burnt grass throughout fairways and rough, just overall disappointing with how beautiful of a layout that they have and the quality of course they provide for members. My family and I joined for the beach and dining (hopefully golf down the road). It’s an excellent swim area and the food is delicious. The members have been friendly and gone out of their way to introduce themselves. We are very happy so far!

A great course and club! Very well maintained, challenging and the scenery is phenomenal! The club itself is family friendly - swimming, fishing, boating and plenty of room for the kids to play. One weekend and you're quickly family at GCC!

It's a private Country Club full of hard working middle class people. I only knew a couple of people there when I joined. Course I was nervous. But they all made a point to introduce themselves an make me feel welcome. Although my golf game isn't good they still make you feel at home. Thank you to all the members Bruce Owensby

Tried for three weeks to get a tee time with the groupon i bought. Was given the runaround every time and not allowed to book a week and a day out. Why offer the groupon if youre not going to honor it? Way to snub a potential member...when i eventually do join a golf club it wont be this one.

My wife's car was hit by a golf ball on rt 44 from this course. They told us they would pay for the damages, even sent us to an auto body shop, then they backed out leaving us to pay for damage caused by someone on there golf course. Thieves and liars while they sip there drinks in there private failing club.

Finally a great restaurant! Beautiful place, great service and outstanding food! A must visit if you are in the Glocester area!
