In summary

New England Country Club is praised for its pristine course conditions, challenging layout with elevation changes and blind shots, and well-maintained greens. The staff generally receives positive feedback for their friendliness and helpfulness, and the club offers good amenities like a practice range and a pub with quality food. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about high prices, parking issues, and occasional staff rudeness, as well as the pace of play enforcement.

Course is in unreal shape, but the staff are rude as hell. Had to split my transactions on two cards, dude working the club house starts talking bad about me had because I used two cards to another player, he had no idea I was sitting right there. Super unprofessional made me feel like a bum Then we get yelled at for pace of play? We started at 7:20 with nobody in front of us (not sure why or how nobody was in front of us), but finished 18 in 3 hours 49 minutes? Super confused, ranger seemed 85 years old so maybe that had something to do with it. $109 to play today I expect the staff to be t…

What a hidden jem in the southern New England area!!! Only a short drive from the Patriots Place area, we found this treasure on the teeoff.com website. The course had different tiered tee boxes, well designed blind shots, nice rolling greens, despite being arerated, and the wild life scene with wild turkeys, raccoons, beavers and weevils were was an awesome addition. The pro shop manager was very nice and welcoming, the marshall checked us in pretty quickly, and the cart manager was very gracious and helpful. If you are in the area, don't miss this adventurous track and enjoy the true New…

It’s a large and tough golf course. You’re playing target golf New England style. When we were there we all felt the greens were so, so. It’s a mountain course with a lot of blind shots to the greens. And there rough would make a grown man cry. So stay on the good stuff if you can. The course will give you a lot of different looks. They have a practice range for $5.00 a small bucket to warm up. If you’re just starting to play golf go someplace else…. You will be much happier at the end of the round…

Interesting course with subtle greens and tree lined fairways. As is the case with most courses, folks could spend a little more time fixing ball marks and divots, but still, it's in good shape. Friendly staff plus a driving range/short game practice area complete with a bunker too. Not amenable to walking given some length from green to tee but you could pretty easily on a weekday if you were so inclined. A great course for the fee.

Yet another great course fallen victim to greed. Truly a shame. My buddies and I have probably played hundreds of rounds here over the years but will now be taking our business elsewhere. The price increases have gotten out of hand. What was once a steal in the $60-70 range just a few years ago is now a laughable $115 with no justifiable improvement to the course or experience. No sense in paying that much when you can play an equal course for less or a much nicer course for only a few bucks more. As a long time customer, it pains me to write this. But enough is enough.

Man I cannot say enough about this place. From the men operating the proshop, to the grounds crew, all the way down to the bag boy's! Absolutely A-1 service and the course is NO different! It has some corkiness to it but nothing too crazy. Challenge's every aspect of your game and is in beautiful condition! I've played there a few times and somehow didn't realize it's beauty until around the 4th or 5th time I've played it! My buddy that I play with every day always saw it because he praised it but now I see what he sees in it. Barry, Jay, and please forgive me for forgetting the 3rd guys name…

This is a presitine course, beautifully landscaped, impecable greens, and fantastic layout. Clubhouse is small but inviting, and the people are respectful and care about your experience! Be cautious when you tee off. The narrow fairways and long holes can get you in trouble, accuracy over distance on this course!

First and foremost, this is a very nice golf course. If you’re a halfway decent golfer, you will enjoy this course. Unfortunately, Nothing else about this place is enjoyable for a non member golfer. The entire time you’re playing 18 holes, you are reminded that you need to maintain a specified pace. Otherwise you may be asked to leave or skip a hole, paying over $100 per person sounds ridiculous that they would ask you to skip some of the course or leave. The largest problem that I had here their parking lot is extremely small and if you have a slightly oversized vehicle, you could be subject…

Had the pleasure of playing this course last Friday 7/7/23 and absolutely loved it. Shooting a personal best that day may have made me biased but, I loved almost everything about the place. Well maintained course with stunning views and a challenging but fun track. Food at the pub was good too and the course drink cart was attentive while we were out there on a 95° day. The practice facility is also very nice although, is a-ways away from the first tee and clubhouse so make sure to give yourself plenty of time when you show up. I’ll definitely be back and am even considering joining next year.

Great course. Starter kept things in order, much appreciated. Lot of shot making, definite challenge. Greens a bit quick, but its October. Drove up from Central CT, would definitely do it again.

Greens roll very fast and true. Great layout and some unique holes. 8 and 17 are my favorites. Some of fairways could have been in slightly better shape but most were in great shape. Pace of play was decent. 4 stars instead of 5 for changing 1st hole into 9th hole which makes no sense. They did this a few years back. Now 1/2 mile between 9th and 10th hole. Good luck if your walking
