In summary

Melody Hill Golf Course is often praised for its well-maintained grounds, friendly staff, and enjoyable layout featuring numerous doglegs, which add interest to the relatively short course. Many visitors appreciate the value for money, the welcoming atmosphere, and the variety of food and drink options available. However, some criticisms include the condition of the bunkers, occasional slow pace of play, and instances of unprofessional behavior from staff. Additionally, a few guests have noted the lack of on-course amenities such as water and cart services, particularly on hot days.

Love this place! Hidden gem for sure. Great price and our round went quickly. The variety of drinks at the outside bar & food was a pleasant surprise! We loved the blueberry lemonade! & chx salad sandwich.

1st time here. We had an early morning tee time. The staff was super nice. I liked the course length, not super long. The layout was good. It was easy to tell where the next hole was. The clubhouse is easy to get food on at the turn, very quickly. I liked how the tee boxes were not stacked next opposing holes and greens. The course seemed very well maintained. My only knock was that there were a few too many doglegs.

Played here yesterday. Overly impressed just 22 handicap who broke 90 for his first time. I think this place has huge potential. Wish it was a little longer they definitely have the room for a couple hundred more yards. Bunkers are rough but if your the average golfer looking to play a good round and not get frustrated this is the place. Best bang for your buck!

Amazing people here at the pro shop and snack bar. The food is great. Fun course that’s very short, but almost every hole is a dog leg to keep it interesting. Conditions are decent on the fairways and tee boxes. Greens are a little slow. Can’t give it 5 stars because the bunkers are filled with rocks that damage your clubs. There’s a chipping area near the parking lot, by the 9th hole green. Small putting area at the first tee. No driving range for warmup. Have fun!

Older course. Not long but lots of dog legs so plays longer. Greens decent fairways a little tough but okay. Very friendly staff. Definitely do again.

Great course. But wouldn’t recommend. Ball boy yelled at me when I was yelling to others on course to turn down music that they were blasting. Said, “we have a putting competition going on.” Just looked like an 18 y/o slacking at his job putting by himself. Meanwhile I’m trying to T off and old people hole near us were blasting AC/DC. Music seemed to be fine for him. So much for a gentleman’s sport. Literally never had a worse experience golfing.

2:21 tee time on Monday September 1st 2025. E We were asked by the ranger to leave, at the 18th hole, at 7:25 because obviously it’s getting dark. The guys on front of us ( drunk; the perks of your girlfriend being the cart-girl) with no one in front of them for over an hour. We know this because while we were playing the 15th hole, the guys that were playing in front of them (and had finished their round) came back to look for a lost 5 wood. I asked their tee time was called every name in the book, and then told staff would do nothing because “my girlfriend works here”. In front of the staff.…

Course is in good shape. Bunkers need a little tlc along with some more sand. Greens had been pushed but still rolled well. If you don't like target golf and dog legs stay away.
