In summary

Gator Trace Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course, interesting layout, and scenic setting, which includes abundant wildlife and water hazards. The staff is frequently praised for their friendliness and efficiency, and the clubhouse offers enjoyable dining options. However, some visitors have experienced issues with course management, particularly regarding "sanctioned" events and interactions with regular players, which have led to disruptions and dissatisfaction for some patrons.

I played a round here last weekend with a couple friends and overall it was a pretty good experience. The course layout kept things interesting and the greens were in decent condition, maybe a little slow but still very playable. Staff at the clubhouse were polite and got us checked in without much delay. The pace of play was alright for a busy afternoon, not too rushed and not too slow either. One tee box looked a bit worn but nothing that ruined the day. The scenery around the back nine was nice and made the round more relaxing. I’d say it’s a solid place to spend a few hours golfing.

Went out to the golf course last weekend with a couple friends and had a really nice time. The greens were in pretty good shape, a few spots could use a bit more care but overall it played well. Staff was friendly and helped us get checked in quick. The course layout was fun, not too hard but still gave a good challenge. The clubhouse had decent food and cold drinks which hit the spot after 18 holes. Would definitely come back when the weather’s a little cooler.

I recently had a milestone party catered by Gator Trace and I cannot say enough good things about it. From the friendliness and professionalism of the staff to the delicious and abundant food, everything was perfect. The staff did not miss a beat when it came to taking care of my guests and they were so accommodating. I would not hesitate to have your event, party or wedding here. You will be in good hands!

This has to be the most poorly managed golf course that I have had the misfortune of visiting. I arrive around afternoon after a tournament (they basically close the whole course down for this which is okay, whatever, although they seem to do this every weekend, multiple days of the weekend), play 9 holes only for a “sanctioned” group to come out and override my play through on the back 9. They wouldn’t let me play through… This is by and large not the first time this has happened either. As reported by previous reviewers, the ownership seems to be partial to these “sanctioned” events which co…

I am a beginner and this is a great course with the water hazards and trees to learn to control shots. Excellent course condition when I was there. Wildlife was great to see!

Terrific meal! I ordered a pretty simple meal of two sliders and their fries. It was hot and yummy! Our server, Terri, was excellent! My friend sitting next to me, had one of the biggest hamburgers.I've ever seen!! Glad I stuck to the sliders!

Participated in the St. Lucie draft house's charity event and my first time golfing. It was definitely life changing and I'm disappointed I haven't golfed before this. I didn't do bad at the event and the course and each hole was a blast. Solid fast new golfcarts, neat giftshop, there's so much to like about this course.

Played this course last weekend. Fairways are nice shape. Greens were very fast like playing on a pool table. Fairways are a little on the narrow side but very playable. Challenging but playable. Great staff and restaurant
