In summary

Freedom Fairways is frequently praised for its well-maintained fairways, approachable layout, and suitability for practicing short game skills. The course is particularly noted for being beginner-friendly and offering a quick pace of play, making it ideal for juniors and those looking for a relaxed round. However, some visitors have reported inconsistent experiences with the staff and noted that the greens can be slow or in need of maintenance. Despite these criticisms, many enjoy the scenic setting and the overall value of the course.

Freedom Fairways is a fantastic little gem, especially for newer golfers, juniors, or anyone who doesn’t hit it a mile off the tee. The course is short and approachable, making it a perfect place to learn the game, build confidence, or just enjoy a relaxed round without the pressure of long carries or intimidating hazards. I especially appreciate that you can comfortably finish a round in under 3 hours, which is a huge plus. The tee boxes and fairways were in good condition during my visit, and while the greens were sandy and bumpy (under summer maintenance), it’s clear they’re working on im…

Freedom Fairways is always in great condition and is a perfect course for approach, short game work and younger players. It is only 2,022 yards from the forward tees, which is great for junior golfers to learn. Moving to the back tee puts you at 3,210 yards. The fairways are tight and greens the course is covered with trees and water, it is a challenging test for its length. Pace of play is excellent, it is a quiet course and I have never had to wait on a group in front of me. Highly recommended for a relaxing round of golf.

Enjoyed my recent round of golf, great for improving your short game. Was not over booked and did not have any wait at tee boxes!

The course has always been my go to course when there's no one to play with from my Sunday group. It's hit or miss with the clubhouse lady, somedays she's mean like an old rattlesnake. As for the course, the greens are always slow, which I understand, today all of them had some amount of sand on them. Some of the ter boxes have seen better days. For the most part all of the fairways are in decent shape. The carts are not in too bad a shape. Overall you're not playing there if you're looking to play a great course, it is an executive course and plays like one. I quite enjoy playing there instea…

Very poor customer experience due to staff. Arrived at 2:15 and wanted to play 18 holes. Bill was less than helpful and did not want my son and I to play and kept saying cart had to be back at 4:30. Ask for veteran discount or law enforcement discount with no appreciation at all other than everyone pays the same. Went to get our cart and John acted like we were not welcome at all asking questions about reservation time, tee time etc and we ask him if he really wanted us to play or not. Again we were told cart had to be back at 4:30 with a demanding stern attitude. My son and I played the 18 ho…

Nice course to work your irons, short holes of par 3 and par 4's with the longest being just over 200 yrds. No need for a driver here. Despite the course being short it provides a pretty good challenge. Front 9 greens were decent but extremely slow, back 9 greens leave a lot to be desired.. overall if you want to run 18 holes and work your irons you can run the course in 2 hours.. not bad for an after work workout.

Fun short course. Play from the gold and you can drive the green on a couple holes. My drive is 230 minimal roll. Some holes require course management. Greens are soft and slow. Need to be cut and rolled. I hear Saturday is slow and it was. I would play again.
