In summary

Cypress Creek Golf Club is praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained course, and friendly staff, with many appreciating the wildlife and challenging layout. However, some visitors express concerns about slow pace of play, overbooking of tee times, and issues with golf carts, which can detract from the overall experience.

It's a nice course, but it's completely oversold. We're waiting and we're still rushed the entire round. The course hosted a private outing (fine), but then STACKED tee times. There were FOUR groups waiting to tee off at ~1:30 today. Sitting on hole 15 there are 3 groups trying (and waiting) to play this hole. We've been waiting all round, and rushed all round by the groups behind us. They should have told us they were booked so I could enjoy the day at another course and play here another day. I'll golf at another course more considered about the player experience next time.

One of my favorite courses. This is like golfing in a zoo. Always tons of beautiful wild life. Course in really good shape.

Incredible place. I had an issue with my reservation…completely my fault, but Steph and Travis went out of their way to work me in. I expected them to be frustrated, but they were incredibly kind and helpful the whole time. The starter was also genuine to my group. This course is in really good condition. I’ll be coming back. Thanks guys.

First time golfing at this course. First off, it's a nice course. However, they desperately need to ALWAYS have a Starter to ensure each group starts in the proper timeslot. No Starter today at 1:00 and it was complete chaos. Not to mention there were players hitting multiple balls on the first tee box. They also need Rangers to ensure each group is keeping up with pace of play. Severely backed up on the front nine and it took 3 hours just for the front nine. Thankfully, there must've been groups leaving after nine holes so the back nine played faster. Didn't see a Ranger at any point.

Stay away!! Played a few times. Each time, golf carts were truly disgusting and filthy beyond description, the pace of play slow, and the course really needs proper TLC!! Then, last time we played, the two carts used by our foursome gave incorrect distance on the screens. I raised the matter at the proshop with a “Stefanie”, who turns out is the manager, she rudely dismissed the matter by saying that they knew and it wasn’t her problem but that of the cart manufacturer Duh??? And when I suggested that it would be nice if golfers were advised, her dismissive tone became ruder. I asked to have s…

One of the worst golf courses I’ve ever played at. Too many tee times booked at once. We had a group in front of us that took an outrageous amount of time, fishing out balls every hole. We ended up having to reach out to the front office multiple times to no avail. Eventually at the back nine we had to go inside and ask if somebody could maintain the course and the gentleman that came out felt like he didn’t do anything at all. It took three hours to finish the back nine. I spent $70 for one of the worst golf experiences I’ve ever had in my life please reconsider. There’s many golf courses aro…

Review: A Golfer's Paradise Amidst Serene Landscapes Nestled in the heart of Tampa Bay lies a golfer's haven that transcends mere recreation to an art form: Cypress Creek Golf Club. My recent visit to this picturesque course left an indelible mark, with its expansive driving range, myriad bunkers, undulating hills, shimmering water features, and breathtaking landscape. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the enormous driving range, perfect for honing one's skills before taking on the challenges of the course. The meticulously crafted bunkers added both aesthetic charm and strategi…

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! If I could give this place 0 stars I would, we booked at Tee time for Saturday at 11:37am didn’t finished until right around 5:00 pm. They seem to stack tee times on top of each other and don’t enforce pace of play in the slightest. First sign of this was on the 3rd hole we were able to see the group on the 6th hole with 4 carts and 8 players putting. Then the group in front of us was playing at an egregiously slow pace and didn’t allow us to play through, so after calling the pro shop several times I had to walk in to get them to say something to the group…

Alright, "Pro," listen up. Since you’ve decided to trade your dignity for a set of clubs and a collared shirt that’s two sizes too small, the least you can do is not ruin the day for the rest of us. Public courses are the Wild West, but even the West had rules. Here is how to play at a public track without getting a 7-iron wrapped around your neck: 1. The "Ready Golf" Rule (Keep it Moving, Grandpa). If you are standing there staring at your ball like it’s a long-lost relative, you’re the problem. If you’re ready to hit, hit the ball! Nobody cares that you’re "away." You’re going to chunk it 2…

Worst golfing experience! They pile 4 some over each other…. Back nine people get in and start at whatever home they want….. (After 2pm)…. It took us 3hrs and 23 minutes to finish the back 9 holes…, if you want an enjoyable golf experience NEVER EVER PLAY AT CYPRESS CREEK….… if you have no other tee time then go this course!!!

This is a pretty well maintained and difficult course. Staff is friendly. However, there are a lot of entitled members who will show up and tee off 25-30 minutes before their time starting around 1:45 everyday. The tee times are already booked so close together so this can lead to some horrible pace of play here.
