In summary

Foothills Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained and challenging courses, with a variety of options including a championship 18, an executive 9, and a par 3. The new clubhouse and amenities receive positive feedback for their quality and affordability. However, some visitors express concerns about slow pace of play, unresponsive or rude staff, and issues with scheduling and communication, particularly regarding lessons and range operations.

Beautiful looking course in great shape. Price was very good and the starters were friendly. Were they lose a star was for pace of play. The front 9 was decent but things really started getting backed up on the back 9. No marshall for all 18 holes. Also the front 9 has no bathrooms which is insane for a golf course. I'd definitely play again as it was a good challenge and a really good but no too tough walk.

Course is alright but I've never been treated with such disrespect from a clubhouse staff member at any course I've been to. Supposed to be open at 6am but staff showed up at 6:40 with an attitude. If you're cool with being disrespected by a grumpy old lady who's 40 minutes late this is the place for you!

Don’t know if management will see this but on Feb 12 2026, the range attendant completely lied and said the range closes at 4:40pm even though the pro shop said 5pm, and he said that it closes 30 minutes before sunset at 5:20pm. That’s not even 30 minutes?? So not only was he lying, he can’t even count and back up his lie. Then when I told him he’s wrong, he just said “Sucks to suck” and walked away. Kid obviously just wanted to leave early and is lazy and rude. Sad to say but I probably won’t come back to Foothills because of this. I hope management sees this and can understand that this ki…

I still have only played the executive 9 here, but I love that course. Hopefully, I can play the full 18 this year. Also, the new clubhouse is fantastic. They have excellent food and drinks in the bar. I can't wait to play here more as we get closer to summer.

2 straight bad experiences at the range. 1- the lights never turned on when they were supposed to. I did get a rain check but it was in pro shop credit so I had to come back. 2- they are no longer turning the lights on for the season. There are no updated range hours posted on the ball machine. I buy a large bucket and assume the lights will still be turned on. At 6:30 the range worker walks up and starts putting my range balls into a range basket without saying anything to me. I ask him what’s going on and he tells me that the range closed at 6:30 and it’s 6:30. Sure, but it would’ve been nic…

Although it’s usually well kept, play is just really really slow. It took one hour to play 3 holes. I know they’re trying to maximize their revenue but pace of play needs to be enforced. Everyone out in 4 foot grass looking for their balls. And getting hit into us by the group behind us, and our partner getting drilled in the back of the leg.

The new club house is very nice. Three courses, a par 3, and executive 9, and a championship 18. Each course has at least a couple holes that make you think. Only issue is tee times are packed pretty tight and pace of play is pretty slow.

It might be me just being a crybaby. I played the par 3 twice on weekday evenings. Start times between 430 and 530. Both days we were not able to finish because of slow play. I think management need to get on slow players especially in the latter hrs. Or dont book past 5 o'clock

This is an awful course. Do not play it lol. Actually it's a nice course. Super crowded because it's a pretty good course.

What clown thought it was a smart idea to shut down the driving range for an entire morning each week for “major maintenance”? By major maintenance, they just mean mowing it. Why is it that other courses, like Fox Hollow, don’t shut down for half a day like this? So stupid.

Foothills is the course I play the most. Great prices, 3 courses to choose from, great practice area and the course is in really great shape for the price. The new clubhouse is really nice.

Beware of signing up for lessons at this course. They don’t keep records of credit card charges or lesson packages. I bought a package last year. After a series of issues with instructor, I requested a refund of my remaining package. I made the mistake of assuming they would keep track of account. It has been almost a year and the instructor was hard to schedule lessons with. She wouldn’t return calls or texts. My daughter made several attempts to schedule a lesson and the instructor wouldn’t respond. I finally got a lesson scheduled for her and when she showed up the instructor told her she h…
