In summary

Deer Park Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained course, suitable for golfers of all skill levels, and the friendly, knowledgeable staff. The course offers a variety of challenges with its open layout and well-placed hazards, making it enjoyable for both beginners and seasoned players. However, some visitors have noted inconsistencies in customer service and occasional issues with the condition of the greens. The on-site amenities, including an RV park and a clubhouse with a good selection of food and golf supplies, add to the overall positive experience.

Great course for us kids golf ⛳️ tournament today… course is wide open with some water. Kids shot pretty low scores today but still a fun course also bonus air show just got does so all the old cool planes ✈️ were flying out. They have an Rv park on site I think you can buy or rent spots seemed pretty full

My husband and son loved this golf course! We stayed at the RV Park next door, so they played several days; staff members were always friendly and helpful, rates were comparable to similar courses they've played elsewhere. Really nice selection of equipment and supplies, my husband even came home with an extra pair of shoes he did not need :) Great course for beginners and seasoned golfers alike, the boys thoroughly enjoyed their time playing this one! We'll definitely return...

Love the course but the greens were crap. You think even though you dont want to cut them because of the time of year, that you woukd atleast roll them. I mean people pay money to play here and it would be nice if they could keep the greens rolling at a decent pace. The head pro is awsome, freindly and always has good advice on anything golf related.

Golf course was in good condition. A good challenge for a left handed golfer with most the bunkers/hazards being on the left side. Staff was slightly unfriendly and didn't seem to care about customer service. Pushing a tee time up by 20 minutes is the most negative aspect experienced.

First time playing this course. When I come back to visit family, would definitely play it again. It's nice to see the mountains in the background. A few risk reward holes, and holes to get par. Loved all the Par 3 holes.

Too many fivesomes and people playing from the wrong Tee boxes. If you have to drive up on the Tee box because you’re that old or disabled then you should probably play from the seniors. No starter and the marshal just drives in circles and says nothing.

I am changing my review and I do not normally do this UNLESS the place I patron/visit changes my "personal opinion", or my experience changes drastically... Our initial round here wasn't good, however, I have been back a few times and Deer Park Golf Course and it's staff have been wonderful!! The course is AMAZING and very forgiving, which is nice for beginners and intermediate players. It is open and very well maintained. The restaurant offers a wide variety of options to choose from and the food is delicious!! They have breakfast too!! The clubhouse has an assortment of shirts, pants, shorts…

We used the driving range. They were friendly and it was very affordable! There weren't any people annoyed that our kids were playing golf, so I would say this could be a family-friendly location! My only complaint would be that they didn't let us know we would need tees at the range and so I had to walk back up to buy some after we already rented clubs and bought a bucket of balls. Seems like it should have been mentioned at the time of check in.

"Deer Park Golf Course is a gem for golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to experts. The dedication of the greenskeeper and maintenance staff is evident in the pristine condition of the course. The greens are well-cared for, and the overall cleanliness of the facility is commendable. I also had a positive experience getting my clubs regripped on the spot. The course itself offers a delightful challenge with its varied terrain, making it interesting for players of all abilities. It's a fair and forgiving course, even for those who might not hit the ball the farthest. The Pro-Shop person…

Usually I like it up here. Came today May 3rd as a single around 3:30. A young guy was working in the front counter and it took him forever to even notice that I was there. He barely said a word to me and I asked if I could get on as a single and he said “no we’re booked for the next two hours.” So I hit a bucket and told him to let me know if there was any room. Then I saw multiple twosomes tee off with huge gaps in between, I asked him to put me on a waitlist when I showed up. He just kind of nodded. I came back in the clubhouse to talk to him about it and he would not even give me the time…

The golf course is awesome, but can we take a minute to appreciate the food at the club house?! The fries are perfect - crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The chef salad is the size of my head and tastes great. And the burgers and wraps that I’ve tried have all been absolutely delicious!!

The greens are consistent in speed, quicker than most area courses. The course has some long holes, tree troubles are minimum, keep in the fairway though, the rough can be pretty tricky. Good bunker placements with some water hazards that require good ball placement to avoid. 17 par 5 is one that you best look at closely prior to second shot. The staff is excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. The kitchen staff does a good meal.
