In summary

Deer Creek Golf Club is generally appreciated for its well-maintained greens and fairways, challenging layout, and friendly staff, offering good value for the price, especially with discounts. However, some visitors have noted issues such as slow pace of play, inconsistent conditions in certain areas like bunkers and driving range, and occasional customer service concerns. The course's challenging nature and lack of amenities like a consistent beverage cart service are also mentioned as areas for improvement.

You can have a 4-star experience at this golf course if you temper your expectations. I give this course 3 stars based on the quality of the greens and fairways – grass is well manicured and plays great. The course complexity is an above average experience at a Really affordable price – this is what gives it the 4th star value. I typically you can find a Groupon online, and even if not the cost for a round is great. As far as the driving range, it needs some work (don’t go here to experience the driving range ONLY). They do however have a nice but small pitching range which includes a sand tra…

I mean what can I say, this course has it all. Deer Creek was Course #3 of the 2nd Annual Ron Mexico memorial. 8 men came ready to attack this course and I can not express to you how wrong we were. The course was in phenomenal shape, more than I can say for a few of our crew. Great tee boxes, even better fairways. Once we found the green is where our game really excelled. The starter was awesome. Bald guy with a raspy voice, my dude. We had two 4-somes but we had a group in between and he allowed us to play together, for which we were very appreciative. Ron would have been proud of us selec…

Played there today.in a.scramble tournament...fairways very narrow...not much room to miss! Lots of houses too close to course...course was kept in good shape...

Course in good shape but most of the bunkers were unplayable and underwater. Unfortunate for a $70 course. *edit weeks later - had to leave after a 2 hr and 45 minute nine holes on Saturday after teeing off at 1036am. They gave us a refund but after the next nine I won’t be coming back.

Nice design. Extremely friendly staff. Course in average condition, a few burn out areas. "Ok" value for the rates charged.

Interesting course. A bit of a challenge with narrow fairways and hard ground. Our groups had some bounces in the fairway or approach that went 90 degrees from the shot. Golf carts were dirty and one sand container on cart was empty and other was half full. I guess they don't want you filling your divots. Driving range was embarrassing as the mats were worn (see picture) and the rubber tees were so beat up they were unusable. There are countless signs saying no outside food/drink yet the food/drink cart never drives around. I would say this course is only worth it if you get a discounted rate…

Great course but if you're not hitting the ball well, it can be a long day. Greens were a tad rough in places but it's a fun track

We went to play here for my birthday. The website says be sure to arrive no later than 5 minutes. We got there early enough to get our carts loaded and be driving up to tee 1 by 4 minutes past our tee time. We were greeted by an incredibly rude man who informed us we were 4 minutes late and he had to let someone go in front of this. He then informed us that we were messing with the whole schedule. Which started off my birthday experience pretty upsetting. They they scheduled 3 groups of 2 behind us at five minute intervals. We had to let 3 groups pass us because we felt bad that they were wait…

***UPDATE*** Sadly, due to the development of parts of the property that used to be part of the course, Deer Creek Golf Club is currently closed with no projected date for reopening, as far as I know. I love this challenging course! It is beautiful and you have to know how to hit the ball and play the slopes of the fairways to get the best lie for par. The tee boxes and fairways are all well maintained. The greens are all in excellent condition and they play consistently on every hole. Playing here has improved my skills. Golf cars are all new and feature charging ports for your devices and r…

I play this course once or twice a year. I would usually give this course 4 stars, but this year's dry hot summer has taken it's toll on some parts of the tee boxes, fairways and rough. Not terrible though. Greens are still good. Pace of play was good. The course is always a solid challenge.

I'm guessing they have renovated the course since those other reviews. This was a beautiful course, in great shape and a lot of fun to play. Beverage cart service was awesome. We played at 1 on a Sunday and finished in 4 hours. The Marshall was even out there attending to the pace of play which was nice. Can't wait to come play it again.

It is a wonderful course. Great price for 18 holes. I have to agree that it is a rather challenging course and I did lose a few balls. But if you are afraid of those tough shots, stick to the driving range. I would have given 5 stars but as was mentioned before, there is no course marshal. It took us over 5 hours as well to complete 18 holes. All in all I will definitely play there again.
